Diaper Genie for cats (vs. Litter Locker). Diaper Genie original vs.     Diaper Genie II?21 Apr 2009 09:58 GMT3
I've got a Litter Locker, but the refills are expensive -- ~$11, and
as low as $9.
A friend told me I should use a Diaper Genie instead--same thing, but
much cheaper refills (~$5 each at a warehouse store; $6 at a Walmart).
What to feed cat to faten him up?21 Apr 2009 03:39 GMT13
I have a male cat that has hyperthyroidism.  I'm giving him tapazole twice
daily in a pill pocket, which works great.  He eats pretty well, but I was
wondering what I could give him to fatten him up a bit more?  He's a
little thin from the hyperthyroidism.
Cat gnawing on wires20 Apr 2009 16:14 GMT22
Thank you all for your recent help with my cat Sylvanas. But now my
problem lies with my current cat, Pagan. She's very spunky - and for
her health I have started feeding her holistic wet food - I've settled
on Merrick brand and she's happy with the flavors available.

how can I keep a cat out of a room16 Apr 2009 02:33 GMT8
My basement is divided into sections with no doors.  One of my cats
likes to poop on the rug in one of the rooms.  He's not sick as he
always goes in the same place, and not every day...more like once
every 3-4 days.  I want to keep him out of this area and bought one of
Cooper -- A FeLV+ Kitten15 Apr 2009 21:37 GMT2
We have a FeLV+ kitten in our program and are facing a decision about
his future.  Cooper is a young, vibrant, DSH black kitten, about six
months old.  We have tested him three times, each time positive.
Currently, he lives in a large ferret cage that he races around in, up
LITTER ROBOT II Self-Cleaning Litterbox14 Apr 2009 11:31 GMT11
Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my post.  Does anybody own a
Litter Robot II Litterbox?  If you do I'd like to ask you a question about
sanitary issues.  On the manufacturer's website I saw the demonstration on
how the Litter Robot works and saw a potential issue.  ...
Please Keep Your Cats Indoors14 Apr 2009 01:42 GMT26
Dear Cat Lovers,
Please keep your cats indoors. It is a fact that outdoor cats only live
about half as long as indoor cats due to the many dangers - mainly cars.
Other dangers include licking antifreeze from leaking vehicles (one quarter

Advice pls: what to send my friend's cat who died08 Apr 2009 21:08 GMT29
I'm in the UK.  My friend and her parents had a lovely friendly cat
at home for about 10 or 12 years. It died earlier today.
Unfortunately I don't know the form for these occassions (and I
don't have any pets to guess what is the right thing to do).
Excellent book on Animal Protection Theme I Recommend07 Apr 2009 02:46 GMT1
Just letting you know about an excellent book on the animal protection
theme…Bad Hare Days by John Fitzgerald (Olympia Publishers). It’s the
memoir of a lifelong animal protection campaigner and it’s a real page-
turner, a most compelling and inspirational read.
A good day03 Apr 2009 20:56 GMT5
Being an electrician in Florida, I find myself in hot attics all the
time and it's usually pretty unmemorable.
Today was quite a bit different and something I won't soon forget.
I was crawling across an attic tracing wires for the second time. As I
