Purrs for a kitten that passed over the bridge unexpectedly....30 Sep 2008 00:52 GMT3
My daughter and I went to the mall today and when we got back to the car,
two spots over from it was a little tuxedo kitten dead in one of the spots.
Apparently, it has gotten into someone's car and got a ride to the mall. It
looked like it had fallen out and just died on the ...
How to get rid of urine smell in carpet?29 Sep 2008 19:27 GMT3
One of my two cats had a problem with urinary track infections, until I
kept her on anti-biotics for an entire month.  She has not thought
"outside the box for about two years".  But in the two places where she
would urinate, the carpet is somewhat yellowed, and smells.  I'm ...
Cat flap in a wall28 Sep 2008 14:28 GMT12
I hope someone can give me some advice.
Before I have always had a cat flap in a door but now I have a new house and
the back door is a large double glazed door which would just cost me to much
to have a flap put in.  A builder friend has offered to put one in the wall
Saving money on consult fees28 Sep 2008 01:35 GMT15
A word of advice to all pet owners out there.
If your pet is sick and requires more than simple vaccinations or special
food, do NOT go to a vet who refuses to tell you over the phone if he
generally can do such and such a procedure or operation.

Decision: leave cats at home or board them with friends?26 Sep 2008 22:58 GMT6
Hello, all: I was just looking for people's opinion on something.
Okay, here's the story.  I have two wonderful cats, a brother and sister,
two years old.  They've never been apart.  They're very social and
affectionate here at home, but they run for the basement and hide under ...
My Cat is Dead26 Sep 2008 02:16 GMT7
I woke up at about 5:15 AM to one of my cat's howling. I thought it was
Dominique as she can be a bit of a pest, day or night. I then noticed
that Jaws was not on my bed, but figured that was OK. I used the
bathroom and decided to look around for Jaws. You see Jaws had taken to
Maniac Hit Cat Over the Head with Frying Pan (PHOTO)24 Sep 2008 16:38 GMT11
A psycho beat a cat over the head with a frying pan so hard it made two
dents, leaving the cat's fur stuck to it.  Emmanuel Rodriguez' stupid
girlfriend then told cops she "didn't want him locked up" even though he's
abused the cat before.  Blood was all over the cat's paws and ...
Translation question23 Sep 2008 10:15 GMT14
I'm in search for the correct English term that describe a shorthaired
cat that does not have a pedigree or belong to a recognized cat breed.
I need it for a good friend who is translating a part of her site
(about hand rearing kittens) from Dutch into English.
Need Temoprary Home for Cat22 Sep 2008 19:31 GMT3
A friend of mine might be going into the hospital for a week or so, maybe a
shorter length of time. She has a cat that needs a home for that time. She
wants the cat back after getting out of the hospital. The cat is a house
cat, and she can provide the cat food.
Water21 Sep 2008 07:46 GMT12
How do I get my cat to drink water?
He loves to play with it, watch it get poured into the dish, but
he won't drink it.
Rescue cats problem21 Sep 2008 01:15 GMT16
We collected 2 cats, a brother and sister, from a RSPCA cat shelter a week
ago.
They are still both hiding behind the sofa - I just offered a few treats by
hand and they retreated out of sight entirely, even thought they must be
Cat is limping20 Sep 2008 15:23 GMT1
My cat is limping horribly on her left leg. She only started this a
few hours ago. She hasn't shown any sign of pain,in fact she wanted to
play. I felt her leg but she didn't show any signs of being
hurt...what could be causing her limp? A sore leg?  She is a beautiful
cats who don't meow19 Sep 2008 23:07 GMT10
My MIL takes care of two feral cats (who are neutered/spayed and tagged) in
her LI homestead. She says she has never heard them make a sound. They open
their mouths as if to speak, but nothing comes out.
Any one have any clues?
