Should cats eat carbohydrates in addition to protein? We feed ours Inova EVO dried cat food, which is low in carbs and high in protein. Maybe I am thinking like a human who cannot live on a protein-only diet, but wanted to double-check what it takes for cats to be healthy.

It seems like when urine in clumping cat6 litter sits for a while there is a point when it is so saturated that it turns into something like clay. It is interesting to me that if a little fresh litter is applied the 'clay'
