Any ideas to deaden a human sense of smell?28 Jun 2008 23:16 GMT11
My husband swears he smells cat pee all over our house. I smoke, so I don't
smell it. We have fought for years over this. We just had the old living
room furniture removed and new comes Monday (we are covering it with
plastic). There is no way today the house smells like it. I ...
Now I know how my cats feel28 Jun 2008 23:16 GMT9
when they are locked out and going around the house to all
the windows trying to get in.
When I went out to get the mail, one of my cats must have
locked the door behind me. There I was shaking the door,
Training Your Cat28 Jun 2008 22:17 GMT11
Don't laugh! Yes it IS possible!  I'm sure you've heard the saying
"you haven't been ignored until you've been ignored by a cat!"  How
true.  Kitty rules the house in a number of homes, including mine.
If you only thought that dogs could be trained, think again.  You know
Vacuum Cleaner?28 Jun 2008 22:17 GMT30
For the 8 years I've had Isis there has been one constant. She does
not like my vacuum cleaner. She didn't like my old noisy Hoover and
she doesn't like my new less noisy Hoover. When I wheel it out of the
closet she hunkers down and looks it straight in the eye. When I hit
Picking up a cat28 Jun 2008 22:17 GMT2
When Big Mama first came to me, I don't think she
had ever been picked up other than to move her some where.
She had lived a feral life for some indeterminate amount
of time...she was found living in the woods, and pregnant.
My cat talks28 Jun 2008 20:22 GMT5
I found a website that makes your cat talk- www.mypettalks.com.  They
take a picture of your cat and animate him.  See my cat Sneakers sing
a song at www.mypettalks.com.

Party! Happy birthday`!28 Jun 2008 15:55 GMT7
Well, for couple of years Kristen's been having a bizarre habit/hobby,
-farting on cream cakes... (beats me) It's amazing to see her taking
off her pants, exposing her bare butt before me, then bending over,
squating with it to the cake, and vigorously breaking winds all over

Newbie questions: What kind of pet carrier?21 Jun 2008 18:55 GMT24
[A very sweet stray or runaway cat has adopted us and we, ignorant of
all cat issues, are in panic. That's why I have a few posts each with a
question.]
First, we want to take her to a vet (Chicago area). She seems to have
Stray baby kitten...21 Jun 2008 18:34 GMT5
I was out in my back yard last night cutting down the overgrown tall grass and weeds and found a couple new born kittens (looks to be a month or so old, old enough to run and scamper around) hidding in the tall grass and managed to rescue one of them that had tried to escape and ...

Dry Food Nightmare17 Jun 2008 21:30 GMT5
This is just a heads up and warning to those who own cats, particularly
males. It is about my experience with Purina Cat Chow. This is what actually
happened to our cat, Overgaard, and what I have learned from my veterinarian
and the internet. Let me make this clear though. This ...
We Lost Our "Skipper" to a Car on Friday17 Jun 2008 21:06 GMT3
Hello All. I'm completly lost & devasted with the death of our Skipper
just Friday 06/13/08. We got him about 18 months ago & I kept him in
until about two months ago when I decided he could go out with our 9
