Scratch on cat. What type of disinfectant?18 Feb 2008 00:47 GMT4
We let our cat outside during the day. She obviously has been fighting,
but I'm not sure with what. Today I found part of a claw stuck in her
face.  I pulled it out no problem but there is a little bit of blood.
Question is, can I put a little Neosporin on it to keep out ...
My cat has a funny habit15 Feb 2008 15:40 GMT6
I have a male cat of 6 months, adopted at the age of 3 months. He has a
funny habit of licking and sucking my hair. As soon as I wake up or go
to bed or just lie down he comes up purring and begins his "licking
attack" producing lots of saliva. He also does it when he feels ...

Will a cat get jealous of another cat ?14 Feb 2008 17:20 GMT18
I always thought they didn't as they seem to do their own thing.  I
took in a new young cat and now have 3.  I have noticed the oldest of
my cats Lou Lou come running over and making a noise if I make a fuss
of the new cat or if he comes and sits by me.
I need help with my Siamese cat--please, anyone?14 Feb 2008 15:33 GMT7
Hi. I just found this group and I'm hoping that someone may be of help.   I
rescued a Siamese kitten in December 2006. We live in the upper Midwest and
she was literally sitting on our doorstep in the early morning hours and she
was crying enough that I could hear her from inside ...

Aggression towards a cat13 Feb 2008 06:39 GMT4
A very dear friend of mine has five cats in the household.
There are two older spayed females, and two three year old neutered males.
These four cats get along basically
fine.  The male cats do pick on the females a bit though.
Is anyone following the wheat gluten lawsuits against Menu Foods or ChemNutra?13 Feb 2008 01:16 GMT8
When the wheat gluten concerns first appeared I was luckily not effected by
it directly.  My cat, Buddy, got extra hugs, I felt sadness when hearing
many of the stories, and I hoped for pets everywhere to pull through.
My condolences to everyone who lost a furry friend.

belly? I have 5 males and two, going on 3 have the flab. I read in other
groups that this is not unusual, but, just wanted to know if any one here

Isis is Getting Older, I think.10 Feb 2008 21:57 GMT15
I got Isis, my long-haired Tabby, in 2000 from the animal shelter.
When I got her she was probably about 3. The vet estimated her age at
that anyway,
So now it's going on 8 years later. That would make her about 11. When
I need help with Ivernectin08 Feb 2008 21:39 GMT2
We've got a few cats and have decided to treat them
all with Ivermectin. I can't understand completely the
doseage from the website that recommended it. I've
talked to a vet, through one of his helpers but I'm still

How to make cat food unpalatable?08 Feb 2008 18:22 GMT10
I have a rather, um, odd neighbour who puts out food for stray animals
-- principally cats, but also raccoons.  I only wish I were joking.
The result is a constant parade of stray cats who, once they've gorged
themselves at the buffet, make a pit stop under my deck (and
