Box Addiction14 Jan 2008 09:52 GMT14
It's out of control now. Isis in the box every second of the day when she's
not eating or spending 5 minutes investigating invisible flying thingies.

Sister cats not getting along.13 Jan 2008 19:46 GMT2
My family bought these two cats that are sisters about 6 months ago that were
FIV positive. Luckily, they are both fine. However one sister is still very
sick looking, much skinnier and more sensitive to food. The sisters always
got along great and got along well with our dog as ...
smelly poop13 Jan 2008 17:31 GMT12
All cat poop tends to stink, but lately my kitty's poop has stunk
worse than usual.  We haven't altered her diet, she mainly eats
Purina Kitten Chow with occassional treats of chopped meat and
a bit of special lactose-free cat milk formulated for cats.
Wet cat!13 Jan 2008 13:48 GMT4
A drop of water scares the heebee-g-bees out of my cat yet he will put his
front paws in his water dish and dance-dance-dance.
Anyone else have wet kitty stories to share?
Cat will not grow!12 Jan 2008 19:53 GMT3
My mother-in-law has a cat that is 6 months old, it is only 5 inches tall
and about 7-8 inches long. It eats like a little pig, but it is not
growing. Does anyone know what can cause this??  Thank you!

Pine needles12 Jan 2008 18:40 GMT3
Never thought to ask the group this before...
My cat loves eating fallen (and brown) pine needles.  First off, why?
Second, are they bad for him?  I don't let him eat them now, much to his
consternation.
Cat embarrassment12 Jan 2008 05:31 GMT3
As I sat here reading alt.cats, my furry beast jumped up, sunk his front
claws into the side of my fabric-covered computer chair, and flailed around
violently for a split second.  I could feel his kitty muscles giving way as
he tried to do a kitty pull-up and raise his rear end ...

Cat Won't Urinate in Litter Box11 Jan 2008 19:48 GMT46
We have an approximately 8-week old kitten which stubbornly refuses to
urinate in the litter box. I find stains on papers & clothing lying around
making it obvious that's where she "goes." She does take dumps in the litter
box but WILL NOT urinate in there.
