Spirit went into respiratory failure this afternoon. The vet did everything he could to save him but he was suffering gasping for air at the end. I could not let him go on like that. I WILL MISS YOU MY FRIEND

I was *HORRIFIED* when I got to to know that american veterinaries practice declawing on cats. How can a civilised country allow this to be done by officially registered medical professionals?
