To stop Max the bath sh.tter11 Nov 2007 02:09 GMT8
I tried many things to stop Max sh.tting in the bath.  I had much
information but it was hard to stop him.
I have filled the bath with shallow cold water which will only get his
feet wet.  I have placed several litter trays and it seems to work
Cat Eye Cold?09 Nov 2007 23:51 GMT4
I live in Wisconsin, where the weather is getting quite cold.   My cat seems
to have developed an eye infection or cold.
His left eye is half shut and a little mucus is presnt.  Is there a good
treatment or do these just run their course
Stoker the Cairo cat09 Nov 2007 20:58 GMT9

just a little way down past the three pyramids in Egypt !! (I told you it
was nice!).
tail injurey and possible amputation of tail09 Nov 2007 18:07 GMT4
My cat somehow got an injury at the base of her tail. Now she is
unable to move her tail. The vet told me her tail was dead. He told me
to wait six weeks to see if she regains the use of her tail. He said
that if it does not  come back to life after six weeks it would need

I have four feral 4 month old kittens living in my back yard. I trapped them

Cats and flat panel TVs08 Nov 2007 21:36 GMT4
I have had a flat panel TV for a few months and until recently my three
cats have left it alone.
It's sitting on top of an entertainment center that was originally designed
for a CRT T and stereo.
Can a cat get out of a storm drain?08 Nov 2007 16:07 GMT4
I just had a healthy looking cat with a collar run in front of my car. It
ran right to a storm drain on the side of the road & went down (no
hesitation, like he had done it before). Its right by my house & I went to 4
houses asking if anyone knew someone who had a cat like this. ...

What is worse: Carbs, Wheat gluten, Rice, Corn, Mercury, Phosphorous?06 Nov 2007 13:46 GMT15
While researching commercially available canned foods, I am discovering
that it is almost impossible to find a brand that avoids all things
touted in the nutrition literature as bad:
1. High % of calories from carbs. (E.g., Science Diet, good otherwise)
material that cats won't scratch to pieces - this may be it06 Nov 2007 03:53 GMT3
I'm surprised that my cats haven't scratched the vinyl material
that I used to recover a barstool and a chair. There isn't even
a mark. The material is from a local store but seems to be pretty
generic ... no texture.
