Do They Stock up for Winter?15 Oct 2007 03:02 GMT4
About a week ago Isis cut back on her daily food. Then, starting the next
day, she cut loose. I've been going through cans of food like crazy. It's
getting cold outside and the light patterns are changing. Do you guys ever
observe your cats eating extra at the beginning of fall ...
Cat up a Tree14 Oct 2007 23:34 GMT11
It is nice to live in a small town where the fire department still
rescues treed cats. Mo had been missing and we figure he had been 24'
up that tree for at least 2 days and maybe 3. Our local animal person
says that it is a old wife's tale that "cats don't die in trees". Any
opinion on cats blood work-up14 Oct 2007 17:58 GMT1
I need to have dental work done on my cat (9 years old).  I had them do the
pre-blood chemisty to check for problems.  Her creatinine is a little high
at 2.2 (high end max 1.6 and is related to her kidney function), her ALT is
74 (high end max should be no more than 50, this is ...
Isis14 Oct 2007 17:45 GMT5
I don't know what's up with Isis lately. We've been together about seven
years. She phases in and out of strange moods. <-:
For a long time she would just flop in a corner somewhere or bake in the sun
and leave me to my own devices. Lately she's doing what she used to do years
Cat clawing in morning..14 Oct 2007 17:42 GMT12
My new cat Max comes into the bedroom in the morning and does this
strange thing where he digs his claws into me and seems to push his
head into my body while gently biting and licking me.
Is this because he wants his food ?  After he gets his first meal he
Help - 2 great female cats??? Need advice!14 Oct 2007 16:36 GMT1
We've had Amy 6 weeks, 6 mos. old.  Just got Becky, 1 1/2 yrs. old.  Amy

personalities, fixed, and get along great.
What do we need to do to get them to stop spraying.  Both are making both
Feral feeding13 Oct 2007 01:51 GMT1
On Long Island NY, they have a Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR)
program for ferals.
This aims to help control the feral population, while being able to

How much to feed a 10 month old cat?12 Oct 2007 18:05 GMT15
We are feeding a neighborhood cat who visits us regularly. She is about
10 month old grey tabby. So far it has not been possible to weigh her
(she is friendly enough and lets us touch her but really panics if we
pick her up!)

How to treat a cat when she throws up?11 Oct 2007 17:20 GMT24
I know it is not the most refined question you are likely to face
today,  but I would like to ask the more experienced crowd here:
How do you treat a cat when she throws up?
It has got to be uncomfortable and disagreeable moment for them. The
cat dyes11 Oct 2007 02:56 GMT8
I have anecdotal evidence that there are hair dyes for some  dogs.  Are
there similar things for cats, or would one have to employ a DIY
solution of Jello, Kool-Aid, etc.?  I called the local Petsmart
grooming, and they didn't do it, nor did they name anyone who did.

Well, it seems that not only dogs like the precious bone marrow. Cats
