cats in the road31 Aug 2007 08:21 GMT11
I live on a low traffic road, but there are cars sometimes.
How do I keep my kittens/cats out of the road? I just tossed a few
(small) glasses of water on a couple of them just now, it took more than
one just to chase them off! They didn't respond to anything else and
Can anyone shed light on this?31 Aug 2007 02:13 GMT1
Ok, Ian has had his ultrasound today and the good news is that there
is no 'obvious' sign of a tumor. Although the vet STILL doesn't rule
it out???
He has had a sample of the fluid taken from his distended abdomen and
Would people pay for seeing cats fight each other???30 Aug 2007 13:24 GMT8
I want to create a wrestling organisation for cats. No holds
barred. Last cat standing matches.
Would you pay to see such an event or are you not into
cat-violence???

Hi once more (yes I realize I come back here often) ;)
Okay here's the thing, I'm trying to trim her nails but she becomes
increasingly hostile when I do and won't sit still. I got a good, deep
bite on my index finger to prove it. :P What can I do to get her to

Now I know why Big Mama likes that pungent Blue cheese.
Best fighting cat ??29 Aug 2007 08:20 GMT10
I live in a neighbourhood with a lot of cats, what breed would be the best
fighting, so I would not have to worry about it getting it's head kicked in
by every toughie cat around the hood ?
Thanks
Toilet water cleaner25 Aug 2007 09:58 GMT6
Hi again,
I always try to make sure I've closed the lid on my toilet but I
sometimes forget and turns out Kitty went and had a drink from it...
Normally I'd not be worried but I have one of those toilet water

When can I let my kitten outside?24 Aug 2007 18:38 GMT14
My new kitten had her 2nd vaccinations last week but only her 1st
feline leukemia vaccination. She goes back next week for the 2nd.
She's 14 weeks old.
Any idea when we should let her outside?
Mom won't give up the kittens23 Aug 2007 17:29 GMT7
Our kittens were weaned and mom was doing great growling at them.  They got
the point and didn't try to get too snuggly... Until she got fixed.  Now, she
beckons to them and they come a runnin' and jump on like they were babies
again.  They are just shy of 5 months.   Way too old!  ...
Wood based cat litter....23 Aug 2007 04:55 GMT5
It is OK to put the wood based cat litter into the toilet and flush it
is it not ?
I have the idea that it is biodegradable.  However my 2 cats do not use
a lot of litter as they do their business outdoors.
feral, stray cats (Aust)23 Aug 2007 02:19 GMT3
Hiya,
My place has started being frequented by feral/stray cats [and
possums] lately, even to the extent that they are coming in the window/
s that are open for *my* cats. Of course they come to eat my cats
Alternatives to canned Science Diet k/d?22 Aug 2007 23:45 GMT18
For years our cat ate Science Diet canned food for adults, usually the
chicken flavor. It's very moist and somewhat mushy. However, now that
he's been diagnosed with kidney disease it's time for a change to a
more kidney-friendly diet.
