CC used to sit on my lap & let me trim her nails. I never cut them to close & never hurt her. But now when she see's me pick up the clippers,she hisses & runs. How can i make it an easy process to trim her nails ?

We just got a new cat...a 5 month old (or so) female that was abandoned. Though still a bit shy...she seems happy and healthy but a bit shy. Anyway ...we showed her the litter box in the basement and she has been using it just fine for urination...
