I was last on this group about 10 years ago when people were very
helpful and comforting when my old cat Cees died. Now I have an even
older cat - Lupi is 24! She's stone deaf, sees badly, has few teeth
left, but is otherwise lithe and fit and has a rich glossy (tabby) coat.

Yesterday when I was petting my black and white fixed boy cat Whiskers, he
got to licking my scalp's hair line.  His tongue kinda hurt.  When Ipulled
my head away, he stuck one claw in and pulled my head back.  Whiskers then

Our cat Allie has lost hair on her back.  It starts from her tail and goes up
half way up her back.  It is like two small lines about a finger wide.  We
