Another cat26 May 2007 20:18 GMT13
My granddaughter broke up with her latest boyfriend and came to live with
me. She brought with her cat, an year old male tabby. I already have 2 cats,
both about 15 years old. This young car wants to play all the time and
bothers the older cats so much that they hide from him.

I am not a cat person, but around five years ago we took in a small
gray cat (which we named Nova) when her owners told us they planned to
put her down. Nova was small and sickly. She had been part of a litter
that had been rescued from the streets. Nowadays she is healthy and

A question about leashes for cats24 May 2007 21:44 GMT6
I've got a 2 year old house cat who has never worn a leash so far. I'm
thinking of getting her one in case she gets out. I was wondering if anyone
had any tips for starting off an adult cat with a leash. I know she will
struggle with it in the beginning, so I'm looking for any tips ...

deaf cat24 May 2007 07:29 GMT6
I adopted a (mostly) white kitten.  She's now about 10 weeks old.  We
call her "Umlaut" after the grey spots on her head, though honestly, it
doesn't make any difference _what_ we say since I'm pretty sure she's
deaf (or she's had intensive training to suppress her instincts).  I
bored indoor cat meows all night!24 May 2007 07:28 GMT17
We've got two neutered adult female cats (about 3 years old) and they
have always been indoor cats (with a litter on the balcony). Since we
moved into a slightly smaller house (9 months ago), they've taken up
some strange habits.

Traveling across country with 3 cats, pls help23 May 2007 03:37 GMT1
I will fly (Indiana --> California), and one option is to take the cats
as "checked luggage". Problem is that most airlines only accept 2
carriers, and do not allow 2 pets/carrier.
Another option is to ship the cats separately as air cargo, but I'm not
Rear Under Belly Mass & Fur23 May 2007 03:28 GMT5
Just under 2 years old and very healthy. However, he has always had
extra long fur and a soft mass of tissue kind of hanging loosely in
this area. No nodules or other ominous texture to the mass. I think
I've seen this on other cats but would appreciate other's perceptions,
