Hermitage Shelter in Tucson08 Mar 2007 21:09 GMT3
Anyone know anything about the Hermitage No Kill Shelter in Tucson.
Are they any good? How do they treat animals? Are they really no kill,
etc?
Their webpage is mostly P.R. not much substance there.
Petsmart Shoppers....08 Mar 2007 02:34 GMT2
If you shop online from PetSmart, could you do my granddaughter a favor
and shop through https://www.schoolmall.com/indexssl.html ? Her school
is - and I am not kidding you - Greenacres Elementary in Clarksville
Indiana (47129). I don't think you'd need her name, but it is Kara ...
Kitten07 Mar 2007 07:12 GMT1
My wife, despite proof to the contrary, claims she's allergic to cats. Such
has been the strength of the evidence that she's finally cracked, allowing
us to get a kitten next month.
To minimise any potential problems, is there a better type to go for iro
Cat Introductions07 Mar 2007 03:30 GMT7
My boyfriend is moving in with me and is bringing over his 2 cats this
weekend.  I've got a 9-year old declawed male who is not very social.
He's got a very sociable 2-year old male and an unsocial 9-year old
declawed female.  All cats have been fixed.  His 2 cats do not get
Sneezing kitty07 Mar 2007 00:18 GMT1
My cat (who I adopted from a shelter about a month ago-- healthy w/
shots) has recently started sneezing.  At first, he would go through
bouts of several sneezes at a time, and now, a week later, he just
sneezes occasionally.  Otherwise, he seems fine-- no discharges, no
Cat uses the toilet.06 Mar 2007 23:36 GMT2
My young Tomcat has been using our toilet.  I found out because I could not
believe that someone would not use the flush.  I am absolutely amazed and
maybe he can learn to use the flush next (only joking).
Is this a common thing ?

My cat saved my life06 Mar 2007 14:07 GMT10
My cat saved my life.  I was lonely, and he gave me myself back.
I was sad and still I am, but he gave me myself back.
I am sad now he is gone but the devil no longer knocks at my door.  It is
gone.  He is gone, but I am safe with him.  My friend.
I tried being sneaky06 Mar 2007 03:05 GMT7
Big Mama was focused at the window, looking outside intently.
I snuck in the kitchen and as quietly as I could opened
her a can of her nightly dinner of Fancy Feast...
she heard that littlest of noise, came running and was already

Even though we had our Lilly spayed at 4 mos. , she seems to be
displaying behavior consistent with being in heat. Is this possible/
normal? TIA

Isis' Brain Power Is Increasing03 Mar 2007 17:05 GMT17
Sometimes Isis has an urgent need to enter a room. It seems to be a matter
of life or death.
Today I observed her trying to turn the doorknob on a door. I am thinking
her brain power is increasing to new and frightening levels.
