Litterbox problems. Help Please!24 Mar 2007 05:04 GMT3
I have a two related questions to pose to the group.
The first relates to an older cat who is having problems using the litter
box on occasion.
Background:  I have two cats.  The female since she was a kitten.  One year
Wolf-Abusers must burn in the underworld24 Mar 2007 05:04 GMT13
I have a  message that shows how much I care for animals -- especially
wolves -- and how much I want to punish the wolf-abusers. I apologize
profusely if anyone in annoyed.

Contaminated wheat gluten in pet/human food23 Mar 2007 13:51 GMT1
We need to take action and get to the bottom of this pet food recall,
and more specifically we need to get someone to confess to what has
happened here and what is still going on.  It should not take anyone
this long to perform all the necessary lab tests to find out what is

"Home Alone" cat22 Mar 2007 15:02 GMT1
I'm considering taking a job that would require a lot of travel.
This would mean the cat would be alone for 4-5 days a week.
How would a cat cope with such a situation?  How much would it help for
her to have a companion cat to relieve boredom and loneliness?
Kitten21 Mar 2007 23:15 GMT4
My wife, despite proof to the contrary, claims she's allergic to cats. Such
has been the strength of the evidence that she's finally cracked, allowing
us to get a kitten next month.
To minimise any potential problems, is there a better type to go for iro
cat food21 Mar 2007 23:08 GMT3
In regards to the cat food recall does it include any dry food?
Most reports i've seen indicate moist food accross 40 cat food mfg.
and 49 dog food mfg. but our local tv station said it now includes dry
food.
Whiskas Cat Food21 Mar 2007 22:46 GMT45
My Indy ate Friskies cat  food for most of his life. I believe that it is
the best out there but have no facts. On day we ran out of his regular food
and not wanting to go the distance to the regular store I went to the quick
store and chose Whiskas.
New Cat/Old Cat dilemma`21 Mar 2007 19:37 GMT3
This is a bit of a twist on an old problem.  My original cat, Casey, who came
to me as a stray, seemed to be pining for feline companionship, so I got a
new cat from the Humane Society.  Knowing that Casey plays rough, I made sure
I got a large, amiable but playful male, who I hoped ...
Cleaning a dying cat21 Mar 2007 18:12 GMT9
Our 16-year-old cat has a tumor in her jaw. Her jaw has swelled up to
the point where her mouth is always slightly open.
We know this is terminal, probably in a matter of weeks or months at
best. I wish there were a way to shrink the tumor, but it  doesn't
Cat and Diarrhea problem20 Mar 2007 22:01 GMT4
I took in a stray cat a couple of months ago thinking that she was
pregnant. Well, after 2 months and no babies, I figured she was just
fat because she has a big belly. Then a few weeks ago, she started
peeing on my bed, so I kept my bedroom door locked so that she
Dog/Cat Food Recall on Almost ALL MAJOR BRANDS20 Mar 2007 20:45 GMT2
Most pouch and cat food is made by Menu Foods in Canada. Apparently in their
never ending search to milk the last buck out of their product, they found a
"low bidder" supplier who sold them bad ingredients from December of 2006 up
to last Wednesday.  They have a list of recalled ...
Need some advice20 Mar 2007 15:44 GMT16
I'm hoping I can get some answers from some cat owners here in the group.
My son has a 4 year old cat and recently his health has been going
downhill. He takes him to the Vet almost weekly because just recently
he's stopped eating and he's been losing weight. This last time he ...

Recently there has been a recall of canned or pouch pet food. Causing
kidney failure. I have some of this food and  for some reason my  2
normally healthy year old cats has the diarrhea so bad it just runs like
water from them. What can I do to help them get through this?
