About 30 years ago I had a male cat that I used to let roam outside. Nothing bad seemed to happen to him....but one day he didn't come back. I consoled myself by saying a neighbor took him in and cared for him. A couple years ago friends of mine had cats that they let roam.... ...

| Cats are NOT dogs | 21 Feb 2007 14:12 GMT | 4 |
I rescued a week old kitten, got her all litter trained and on food by 6 weeks. A real treat for me. I felt like SuperMom. At 8 weeks I gave her to friends since I was moving to another state and staying with my son for a bit and he and his daughter are allergic. I had visiting ...

Just thought I'd share this gem from PETCO. Sent them an email three months ago, yes, three months ago, asking them why their prices are higher than Petsmart. Yesterday, got back one of those 'could care less' emails from PETCO,

| Cat Refuses to Stay Off Kitchen Table | 19 Feb 2007 02:51 GMT | 34 |
I have a cat that is adament about hopping up on the kitchen table--not when we're eating, but often-times all other times she is HELL BENT on doing it. Tonight was the last straw. I heard a crashing noise and got-up to find that a plate on the table had crashed and hit the floor ...

| Nail trimming | 19 Feb 2007 00:47 GMT | 15 |
When I trim my cat's claws, it seems that I always cut to the quick, and then I feel horrible. Sometimes she "yelps", and that leaves me shaken and angry at myself. Of course, she seems fine, but it still doesn't erase the guilt. When we got her spayed, the vet trimmed her nails, ...

I have finally accepted that my 16 year old cat is just going to pee where she wants. What kind of couch would be better -- leather or fabric? I am starting to loathe the smell of Febreze.

I was just wondering if any of you out there have ever had problems using a shedding blade (the round kind) on a cat... I've had the blade for quite a few months now, and it really does get the hair out. Lately my little one has been really bugging me to

I recently noticed the the hat on which my cat sometimes sleeps is covered in very tiny worm like creatures. These are not the white "Worms" that can be seen on a cats rear end. These worms are are dark brown to black, tubular, 1/2mm in diameter and 2-4mm long and seem
