I just switched my cat from Humulin N to Lantus and his urination has increased to every two hours. He is urinating a large amounts and is also drinking large amounts. Is this normal? Did other Lantus users find this happened to their cats until they found the right dose? If so, ...

Our male tomcat (about 4-5 yrs old) had a penile urethrostomy about 4 months ago. Everything seemed fine until today when ive noticed hes developed a problem unrinating again and is generally looking agitated.
