Nobody wants him31 Jan 2007 23:54 GMT22
So, I put an ad for the Geist on craigslist and some people have came
over to visit him. Unfortunately, if anyone but me pets him he growls
and hisses.
He's really immature -- yesterday he kept hitting the shades (and he

Hi.  I need some advice.
Our cat is a spayed female, five years old, and an "only" cat.  She
stays indoors except for when my husband takes her for a walk around
the yard on a leash.
Omega 3 Oil and Kidney problems31 Jan 2007 12:05 GMT3
Greetings from Norfolk
One of our two cats has been (provisionally) diagnosed with a kidney
prooblem.  This has meant that he has to go onto a special diet (no salt,
high quality protein etc).  We have also been told that 500 mg of Omega 3

Zeitgeist has left the building.30 Jan 2007 04:58 GMT2
Well, Zeitgeist is gone. He left this morning.
I spent my last night with him last night. He jumped up on my desk and
lied down, two minutes later he raked his claws into my hand and bit
me -- just like old times.
When your kid gets older.30 Jan 2007 01:35 GMT5
Used to be that when my Deetoo was hungry she'd "mrow, mrow" which
translates into "feed me please, I'm hungry".
Now that she's two years old and hungry, it's "Mrowrowrowrow. MROW!", which
translates into "Get your fat a.s over her and feed me. RIGHT NOW!"

air cleaners for cat hair28 Jan 2007 01:20 GMT6
What do you think about the above? It seems like to me that it would be easy
to hook a fian and a filter together and make and make my own. Since I'm
only worried about cat hair and not bacteria ...
Have you had good luck with any products? It seems crazy to me to buy
What is the highest a cat can jump?26 Jan 2007 18:31 GMT5
We are building a fence in our yard to keep our cat inside. We don't
want him to jump over it. How high should we make it? He is very strong
but also very heavy.
Stinky cat26 Jan 2007 17:28 GMT2
I have a cat that DOES clean himself, and yet still stinks.  He is an outside
cat, not neutered.  Any Ideas...... I am so lost, this was a ferrel cat that
was eventually tamed... I cant wash him, or it would be sudden death to me
lol.  He literally smells like a dead animal, at 1st ...
Odd behavior26 Jan 2007 14:36 GMT3
Over the past 2 weeks our cat, RED, has begun to do something that I
think is odd.  I left a pair of pajamas out and she kneads them with
her front paws -- that is not the odd part -- she also now kneads with
her back legs as well (something I have never seen cats do before) and

What's wrong with our cat Mike?25 Jan 2007 06:15 GMT1
My cat has been lethargic and anorexic; he vomits about every other
day.
His feces often times (not always) smell like feces and vomit, they
have a very heavy, dull, pungent smell (this is recent) - sometimes
[from best-of-craigslist] What really happens when you take your dog or cat to a shelter...Graphic25 Jan 2007 00:15 GMT5
[originally posted to craigslist on 6 July 2006]
I am posting this (and it is long) because I think our society needs a
huge “Wake-up” call. As a shelter manager, I am going to share a little
insight with you all...a view from the inside if you will. First off,
