Cat Fighting11 Nov 2006 02:14 GMT5
I have 2 cats-One is approx. 11 years of age Male-the other is appox. 5
years of age--female--both neutered-both living under the same roof for 5
years. Recently, the male is hissing and spitting and the female is
growling--and then they fight.  It stopped for about 2 weeks and then
Heating Pads and Cats11 Nov 2006 01:50 GMT6
My Indy is a very sweet and loving cat. He follows me around the property
and hangs out with me when I work on the car. He is about eight now. Since
the weather started getting colder he wanted to snuggle too close when I am
sleeping. He would wake me up many tines a night. I wanted ...
Cat scratching new carpet..10 Nov 2006 06:46 GMT5
My female cat Lou Lou is scratching in a certain patch of carpet, where the
hallway meets the bathroom and is pulling the carpet up.  I have bought a
scratch pad which contains cat nip and have put it over the spot but it does
not fit properly as she is scratching in the corner.  ...

Cat strange behaviour ?09 Nov 2006 22:49 GMT5
One of my cats started acting very strange earlier, she started zipping
around the place and hiding under a large cushion and peeping over the back
of the sofa.  She just looked different it is hard for me to describe but I
think you will understand if one of your cats acted ...
Playful Tuxedos?08 Nov 2006 06:24 GMT8
For those of you with multi-cat households that include at least one tuxedo,
do you find that the tuxedos are more playful and rambunctious than other
cats?
We have 5 cats, 3 of which are tuxedos.  Our tabby and bobtail are much more
How to discourage this behaviour?08 Nov 2006 06:10 GMT2
I installed the Cat's litter tray in our loo right under the extractor fan,
which is constantly on. She pees in it ok, but a year past (she's 4) I got a
luxurious bit of green carpet surplus, and fitted it alongside the shower.
She uses it like a patch of grass (I think) and ...

What should we do about this stray?08 Nov 2006 00:13 GMT6
A stray keeps turning up extremely hungry, with a strong urge to stay.
He's very affectionate, and rather clean and seemingly healthy, so we're
all okay with him staying.  However, we don't want him in when everyone's
out (since then we can't turn the alarm on) or when everyone's ...
Kitten and toilet paper07 Nov 2006 16:55 GMT10
My kitten(8 months) has an obsession with the toilet paper roll. If I
have it dispensing from the top, she'll unroll the whole thing. If I
dispense it from the bottom, she'll mangle the whole thing on the
spindle. If I leave the roll off the spindle, it just gets mangled and
I'm losing my two babies07 Nov 2006 13:44 GMT8
After things have gotten totally unbearable at work, I made the decision to
move west to be with my son and his family.  I'll be staying with them
through the holidays til I find a job and a place to live.  He and his 3 year
old daughter are very allergic to cats, and they have a ...

Cats inner ears..06 Nov 2006 15:29 GMT12
My tomcat Diego roughly 18 months old has always had small cuts in his ears
and the inner ear (when I say inner I do not mean right in) seems tender and
he gets these scabs which are small.  He is a very clean cat and he has a
check up when he had his boosters but I forgot to ask ...
Great quote regarding cats05 Nov 2006 14:43 GMT1
"It is easy to understand why the cat has eclipsed the dog as modern
America's favorite pet. People like pets to possess the same qualities
they do. Cats are irresponsible and recognize no authority, yet are
completely dependent on others for their material needs. Cats cannot be
How does Petco survive?05 Nov 2006 10:06 GMT19
On every item I have checked, Petco is more expensive than Petsmart.
Also, the two often have branches near each other. Do you understand
why some people visit Petco and why it survives despite higher prices?
