Another thread brought up the difference between cats behavior when someone comes to the door. The other poster and I both have male cats who go to the door to see who it is and female cats who hide. Is this common or just a coincidence?

Ok, so I have a male cat, neutered, approximately 1 year old. I am currently fostering 4 kittens that are around 7 weeks old. Well my cat keeps going around to all the kittens and licking/cleaning their butts. I cannot figure out this behavior. Worse still, one of the kittens

I bought one of those shedding blades at Wal-Mart eariler and I finally had give up using it. I brought ZG out into the apartment hall and proceded to get to work... did the hair come off I think I probably got off at least 5 pounds until he heard a neighbors door open and bolted ...

Our cat is about 17/18 years old and he's losing his appetite, seems to be losing his legs - when he jumps up to something or back down he doesn't land on his feet and falls. I think this is also stopping him getting into his little box as he's started doing the toilet all over
