Goodbye Giganews13 May 2006 01:47 GMT3
Dear Giganews:
I am posting to inform you that your arrogance and your blasé
(at best) treatment of your paying customers has finally reached
the point where I no longer consider it tolerable, no matter how
Scratching everything!12 May 2006 21:53 GMT9
Okay, I've had my cats for about 1 1/2 years now, boy, it just doesn't
seem that long!  I got them at 4 months and tried and tried to keep
them from scratching furniture, I have tried everything, citrus sprays,
boundry sprays from pet store, sticky tape, foil, yelling, etc. etc.
cat typing prevention12 May 2006 15:48 GMT1
Apparently this is a big enough problem that
someone felt the need to address it.

automatic nail cutter11 May 2006 23:52 GMT3
I invented an automatic nail cutter for cats.  It works just like a
pencil sharpener.  You take a cat and, one by one, stick each paw into
the sharpener. Viola'!  Done in 30 seconds.  No struggling, no mess.
Next, I am teaching my cat to go sharpen his own claws.  The hard part
how did you get your kitties11 May 2006 17:21 GMT17
Well all mine are strays & came in this order,
1. Luvy-- Black-found in garage with a litter of kittens, kittens did
not live
2. Rainy Boy-- Grey Tabby- May 2005 showed up in a night time
Our dog killed a cat today.11 May 2006 12:39 GMT14
We've got a lot of cats, all that stay inside. One of them was killed by a
neighbor dog about a year ago (before we started keeping them inside). I
know how bad it felt and I am planning to get rid of the our dog. We were
keeping the dog for a friend who became homeless. It's ...
The Squirt Bottle hast arrived!11 May 2006 07:40 GMT17
After being repeatedly attacked on my computer desk, at random, I have
turned a former Tilex bottle into a high-powered squirting device.
Formally, I was not safe at my computer desk while using my mouse as I
would be attacked, violently and without regard for safety. Claws would
Diagnosed Coccidia11 May 2006 02:29 GMT3
This cat was on deaths door until yesterday. She wasn't
responding to anti-biotic. She was on a double dose
just trying to keep her alive.
It was really tearing her up and we worried she would
Couple cat questions10 May 2006 20:25 GMT4
This is Philo's girlfriend, or in the case of Cocopuff,  her handmaiden.
Anyhooo we just have a few questions.  First, we know she's about 6-8wks
old.  When does one normally have a cat spayed.  All our previous cats were
older when we got them so it was never a problem.
Question about dominance10 May 2006 18:43 GMT2
I've read that cats are not pack animals and are more or less solitary. But
they can and obviously do live together. I have a 3 year old male cat who
weighs 13lbs. I also have a female cat that is about 2 years old and weighs
about 6lbs. Both have been fixed.  My male cat has always ...
shriveled poops, loss of appetite10 May 2006 17:58 GMT3
My cat didn't eat much last week and her poops were shriveled. She
seems to have more of an appetite now and her poops are back to normal
for the most part.
I don't know what caused this. A friend suggested it may be due to her
Feeding human grade tuna10 May 2006 02:46 GMT29
I occasionally feed her tuna chunks as treats which are greatly
appreciated. I buy tuna packed in water.
My question is: Is it ok to serve tuna in the water it came packed in,
or should the water be discarded?
Uneaten canned food09 May 2006 21:35 GMT17
I open a can and put the food in a bowl. The cat decides after a few
sniffs and licks that she's not in mood...
Can the food be saved for later? If so, can I just cover it with a
plastic wrap and refrigerate, or should I put it in a can with tight
