Please help!
There are so many cat lovers here and at least some of you must have
cat doors. I need to install one before next winter, so the cat I feed
wouldn't have to wait outside on a snowy windy porch before I spot her.

Am considering leaving my 2 indoor cats at home alone while I go on a 7
day vacation. Nobody available to do the pet-sitter thing. If they have
the run of the house, plenty of food and water, extra litter boxes,
toys, and each other -- do you think that this is a feasable plan? I

Besides Usenet newsgroups, which other cat discussion forums do you
like or find most helpful?

I currently have five cats (rough ages 8,3,3,3,2). They generally all
get along with only a scuffle here and there.
My wife and I are moving into a larger house (for us - about 2,000
sqft) and plan to get a dog. We'll have around a half acre fenced in

Perhaps some of you knwo about it but it was new to me.

Sometime ago, I had a posted a question about how much to feed a cat.
The response I rememebr (from Phil and others) was 20 Kcal per lb of
body weight per day, for a neutered adult. So, for a 5 lb cat it would
be 100 Kcal per day.
