Separation anxiety?31 May 2006 21:32 GMT6
I got a new kitten.  He is so sweet and cute, but he came from a home
with about 10 other kittens.  I think he is having separation anxiety.
He cries all the time unless he is being held.  Short of getting
another kitten, what can I do?  I can't hold him all the time.
Help - kitty eating habits31 May 2006 16:55 GMT8
I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on kitty eating habits.  I have
two cats - one of which always wants to eat, and another that does not
like to eat more than two bites at a time.  The first cat is on a vet
imposed diet for obvious reasons, and, I try to feed them seperately,
Refrigerated canned cat food31 May 2006 15:49 GMT8
I find myself living now in a very hot apartment.  The cat is an old
boy (14 years) in good health.  A few months ago I started him on
canned food, one can a day.  Name brand and not generic, 5.5oz cans.
Other than that he has his science diet dry food which is always fresh
HELP!  Divorce--What to do with the cats31 May 2006 14:51 GMT2
I am looking for any input here.  My husband and I are going to get a divorce.
He gave me our two indoor-only cats several years ago as a birthday gift.  We
both love them very much.  The boy cat is more attached to me and the girl
cat is more attached to him.  They really have ...
Help! Tick Infestation!31 May 2006 03:14 GMT8
Hello, everyone. For reasons too involved to list, I have very limited
posting ability to Usenet. I can read as much as I want, however, so
please forgive my lack of quick response to answers to this query.
All last year in this rural farming area, we never saw a single tick.
BENGAL cats31 May 2006 01:04 GMT5
Has anyone here owned a good Bengal or ... even a Bengal mix?  I've met some
Bengals at Jean Mills cattery in Covina (CA) and was taken by the handsome
markings and their highly active nature.  But I'd like to hear from those
who have lived with one (or more) about their ...

Can cats catch human colds?29 May 2006 22:37 GMT7
I guess these things can't cross the species barrier, but can cats
catch a cold from a human?
I ask 'cos I've gone down with a stinker of a cold and my two Siamese
kitties have clearly recognised that their hoomin is a bit under the
help with identifying coloration?29 May 2006 02:43 GMT14
Have always wondered about the coloration of our 9 year old female. I'm not
one to boast about our pets, or ask nagging questions, but her coloration
was always a bit odd to me.
What I do know, her mother was a pure (non-white), Tortoiseshell American

My cat is sick .. what's the problem ?28 May 2006 22:20 GMT3
Appears to be angry with tail (about hourly, for a few minutes)
Bouts of aggression against self (tail chasing with growling, hissing,
vocalizing and tail biting).  This behavior worsened gradually
over 5 days, peaked two days ago (cat was insane about it), and now
cat dribbling28 May 2006 19:04 GMT3
My male cat Jasper has always dribbled when he's been purring, but recently
he's been dribbling a lot more. He has also been rubbing his face against
any surface he can find and quite often has the fur on his cheeks soaked. He
seems perfectly bright in himself which is why I ...
