I've just finished reading 'Accelerando' by Charlie Stross. Brilliant book;
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Except for one thing.

Cats: Context-Sensitive?23 Apr 2006 16:37 GMT3
With ours, in one room of the house it doesn't want anything to do with me
touch-wise.   In another room, it's all over me.  This has been consistent over
many months.    Seems like me and the room are somehow part of a pattern/matrix
to it and it has different reactions to the ...
Supernatural Cats23 Apr 2006 07:20 GMT1
A recently published independant study has shown that 75% of all "Bigfoot"
sightings over the last 5 years have mentioned the presence of a
supernatural cat accompanying the famous man-ape.
Many authorities see this as a sign that the mysterious Sasquatch (to give

I have a 6 yr old cat that I adopted from a shelter and she is out of

Two weeks ago I brought home another cat (DMS 2 year old female named Bette)
to be a companion to my DMS 2 year female Belle. Belle is also 17 lbs and
much larger than the petite Bette Belle  is laid back and ready to make

Vaccination Question - please help21 Apr 2006 03:27 GMT18
I have a cat who stays in the house 95% of the time and is allowed to go
out occasionally on a leash. My question is: Would my cat really require
booster shots every year? I have heard that they are both unnecessary
and can actually be downright dangerous. I've also heard that

I'm not sure where I heard this (might have been here),

I laugh inside every time I even think of that.

Litter Boxes19 Apr 2006 23:18 GMT1
We have a multi-cat household.  I found if I go to K-Mart
first, then Walmart, I can buy their large plastic storage
boxes and use them as litter boxes.  The price is a fraction
of what you would pay in Petsmart or a pet store for a litter
My husband's fear...19 Apr 2006 18:58 GMT15
My husband has, what I think could be, an irrational fear...
he heard that if you neuter a male cat, it grows to be huge... or at
