is it more cost effective to give your cat fresh cooked chicken and rice, instead of buying the stuff in cans? I mean, the stuff in cans is probably gizzards and grist, while I can give my kitty chicken breast at a cheaper price if I cook it myself!

Revolution runs about $50 here. There's something from Hartz Mountain for about $5 but it warns about the problems associated with pets and pesticides. Ivermectin is expensive too, as you guys know.
