My cats likes to sleep with some light on her face!16 Mar 2006 02:21 GMT12
Our cat appears to like sleeping with light on, facing the light. This
is obviously no problem, but I am curious to know if it is common?
One night she was sleeping in the living room where we have two lamps,
one of which is on all night. Seeing her face towards the lamp, I

Bladder Problems?14 Mar 2006 07:04 GMT12
My cat has been acting funny the last few months. She meows quite often
for no reason- usually when she comes into a room. 2 months ago she
started to urinate on the floors or on piles of clothes/towels on the
floor. I've noticed that many times, whether she's outside or inside,

Feral Cats13 Mar 2006 22:15 GMT3
I'm fairly new to this newsgroup.   I somehow ended up with 5 feral cats.
Two are female, two are male and one I'm not sure of.    One of cats may
have been dumped because it's starting to be a little more friendly and has
only recently started coming  around.   My problem is I ...
duration of the cat's growth13 Mar 2006 21:55 GMT1
I am having a discussion now, as to how long does the growth period of
a cat lasts. Is it twelve month? Fouteen? A year an a half?
Thanks.

Kitty litter question13 Mar 2006 12:22 GMT4
I read somewhere that it's a bad idea to change the brand of cat litter
once the cat is used to it. In other words, don't buy what's on sale
only stick with the same brand.
Any truth to this? Any experience?

Dog eating cat feces13 Mar 2006 03:12 GMT3
And then he gets sick.  Rather messy. You'd think the dog
(a Westie( would figure it out, but no.
Any ideas other than making the cat box inaccessible to the dog?
Insulted by attitude towards cats on CSI13 Mar 2006 02:34 GMT18
Tonight's episode of CSI... yet another example of how cats are treated
in the media that ticks me off.  The attitude portrayed towards the
cats in this show are as if they are no more than vermin, mere
things...to be sneered at and shuddered at, annoyances at best, to be

Our overweight cat Buddy got a diagnosis of upper resp.infection 2 weeks ago
and we got eye drops w/steroids (she tested his eyes for ulcers first) and
liquid Zeniquin. 1 ml once a day from a dropper. He's almost done w/it, his
eyes are bright again, he doesn't wheeze like he was ...
HELP-PLEASE I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING12 Mar 2006 19:25 GMT9
As I have posted before I bought a Calico cat last Monday. I have to force
her to drink. I've tried everything. Prescription diet dry food, wiskas in a
can no can do. I went to the pet shop this morning and told the lady that
the cat just won't eat or drink. She was very nice to me ...

What is your opinion of laser pointers as toy plus exercise device?
