A strange question22 Mar 2006 13:19 GMT20
Our oldest, Rainbow only eats dry food- no biggee there. Every time she
walks into the kitchen and sees her bowl she wants food, new food. Not
whatever is already in there. Now the question; could she be sublimating
food (what little she eats because she's in no way overweight) ...
Invisible indoor fence?22 Mar 2006 03:36 GMT5
Hi, my wife is considering getting an indoor fence.  We have 3 cats 1
declawed which we rescued.  She'd like to use an indoor invisible fence
for the other two as they are tuff on the furniture in our living room
which would be the only room set off-limits to the 2 clawed cats.
Playing games with Fatty21 Mar 2006 18:08 GMT2
Fatty our adopted ginger/blonde Tom, who subsequently was spayed and given
his shots is about 9 yo. He must have been someone's cat as he knows all the
tricks to get his way including hovering around your dinner plate for bits
of meat,..he doesn't mind if they are cooked, chicken ...
Senator Bill Frist: Dr. Mengele to Cats21 Mar 2006 17:37 GMT5
I came across this article in another newsgroup, I imagine most of you might
have already seen this but it was news to me.  The only reason this selfish
prick is apologizing is because of politics.  Sorry for the harsh words but
just the thought of someone as cruel and selfish as ...

My 12-14 yr old neutered tom has lost a lot of weight over the past 6
mths, and been eating less and less. For the last couple of days he has
hardly eaten anything, and seems very lacklustre, asleep nearly all the
time.

our family life.
She whines when she wants her soft food, enters another room, wants us to

Weird Cats are Great20 Mar 2006 08:51 GMT13
I have two cats, now about 2YO, who I have aptly named Psycho and Rambo.
What a pair! Were shelter cats which I obtained to replace the two I
lost who were 21 and 22YO. Rambo loves popcorn and cashews while Psycho
only eats cat food. Neither of them will touch seafood in any form ...

Max vs the Face in the Floor18 Mar 2006 22:48 GMT9
My home office has a wood floor and of course there are a few knots in
the wood here and there. My cat Max has become obsessed with one of
them, I think because it looks a bit like a face close up. In any
event, if you'd like to see Max going after the Face in the Floor, you

He is a 7/8 year old siameese mix who the neighbor put out as an outdoors cat
because he was never nuetered and he sprays.  He fed him when and if he
Cat Nip Pouches17 Mar 2006 02:12 GMT1
I have several cat nip plants in the yard.  As they grow through out the
summer I trim the tops off, hang in garage until fall and plant has dried.
I get some cute material and sew a little square with one end open and fill
with the dried crushed cat nip.  After crushing, I put ...
worried about my cat16 Mar 2006 23:45 GMT6
I have a cat, Jonesy, that is a little over 3 years old.  He has some
ongoing problems that don't seem too serious, but they worry me.  #1.  He
always is getting "gunk" in his one eye.  He is always squinting this eye a
lot too it seems.  #2.  He has a bone cracking sound ...
