Allergy free cats yet?20 Feb 2006 15:59 GMT1
I love cats so much, but i cant get any because of my stupid allergies. The
reactions are pretty severe too.. Difficulty breathing , itching eyes,
headaches, congestion.. Its probably hard for some of you to believe that
someone  with such severe allergic reactions would still ...
Neutered Female: Seasonal Smelliness?20 Feb 2006 14:59 GMT3
Ours is starting to smell.    Nothing fecal or anything like that.   More like
it just needs a bath.   It is also shedding fir, which I assume is correlated
with the coming transition to spring weather.
I'm reluctant to try to bathe this thing - pure fear on my part...
Smelly20 Feb 2006 11:09 GMT1
I'm sure this has been covered a million times, but just today I
noticed an odor in my cats, um, bum region.  Now, I don't usually go
around smelling my cats bums, but it was quite noticable and I
discovered a rather fishy smell (best I can describe).  My other cat is
Why is our cat affectionate to only one of us?20 Feb 2006 01:54 GMT6
Two months ago my significant other adopted a roughly year old Maine Coon
female who had been rescued from an abusive environment. Until the last few
weeks Pebbles spent almost the entirety of her time curled up behind a sofa,
emerging only to eat and to visit the cat box. Now ...
A new kind of bite?20 Feb 2006 00:37 GMT6
Our feral cat has come a long way in the year since we got it.
Civilized...almost... but still not quite right.
A couple of times recently it's done something new.
Probably new to me bc it's finally getting to the stage where people can touch
Tray Training?19 Feb 2006 21:25 GMT6
My mother loks after a neighbours cat very ofyen during the day.
Frankly, the neighbour is quite neglectful of the cat hence my mother's
intervention. The cat isnt tray trained and it appears to be between one to
two years old  It does wait by the door to be let out when ...
CAT AGILITY TRIALS19 Feb 2006 17:17 GMT1
hi folks, do any of you have any info or hints about cat agility trials?
What I've found so far seems like fun and doesn't seem too difficult.  I
wish I could find a training video, but so far I've only found links to
books and clicker training. Would love to hear from someone in ...

Cat is having problems, please help19 Feb 2006 16:52 GMT4
We got our cat, Jonesey, about 4 months ago.  We adopted him from a
no-kill shelter.  He's about 3 years old and is the sweetest cat in the
world.  However, he does have one bad trait that he's had from the
beginning.  He won't stop begging for food!  He's like Joey Tribianni on

How old is my cat in human terms?19 Feb 2006 07:58 GMT13
Hi. I have a female cat that is now about 15 years old. I know that is
not young for a cat, and she is starting to show signs of ageing, such
as slowness in movement, lack of activity, sleeping a lot, not jumping
high onto things, etc., So i was just wondering how her age would ...
Is this behavior strange or normal?18 Feb 2006 22:24 GMT6
This refers to my friend's cat. Usually she is quite comfortable with
me, sits on my lap and lets me play with her. However, once in a while,
could even be after having played nice, she gets into this strange
mood: She sits crouched and extremely alert as if hunting or being

Hello! We have a 8 year old female, "Callie," whom we raised from a
