Odd things cats eat...20 Jan 2006 21:49 GMT12
Our cats like, BION, CARROT JUICE!
My wife poured them some, and they both lapped it up.
Freaky, but then, I once had a cat that liked Nacho Cheese Doritos.
Cat bites20 Jan 2006 11:09 GMT12
My Delany, a year-old grey female tabby, will for no apparent reason
turn and bite me, and I want to put a stop to it.
Delany is an indoor cat, neutered but not declawed.  I adopted her when
she was 8 weeks old from a local rescue no-kill shelter (she was born
Food behavior20 Jan 2006 07:26 GMT15
A coupke questions inspired by my cat's eating (mis)behavior:
(1) I have been feeding my cat one 5.5 oz can daily split between two
meals. I open a can, give her 1/2, refrigerate the rest, use it later.
But lately she has started resisting left-over food. I know she likes
I need a rat recording to amuse my cats20 Jan 2006 06:31 GMT3
Is there anywhere I can get a stereophonic recording of a family of
rats scurrying about?  I want to keep my cats busy and playing the rat
recording will keep them busy pacing around the house trying to track
the rats.

Hi I'm a new pet owner of a young kitten age 6 mnts and I'm not sure whether
she has worms or not. It might even be the way I'm feeding her,
I've brought her suitable (round and tape worm) tablets.

are going to adaopt another kitten next month ( a female this time). What is
the best way of introducing the two so neither is scared and so they will
hopefully like each other?
How to curve a behavioral problem?19 Jan 2006 02:40 GMT7
I adopted what I believe to be a Main Coone/black cat mix from a friend
who either wouldn't or couldn't get her female cat (the black, very
tall and lean) spayed and was constantly being impregnated by the
neighborhood alley cat.  I knew the cat wouldn't get proper healthcare
LitterMaid Fix - motor not engaging18 Jan 2006 04:06 GMT1

Cat Nurses on My Ear Lobe (Photos)18 Jan 2006 01:24 GMT19
My little tiger cat keeps climbing up on me purring and nursing on both of
my ear lobes.  While she is doing this she purrs, making a funny sound and
kneads my cheeks.  Then she licks my face here and there and rubs the sides
of her cheeks on my face inbetween nursing on both ...
Can someone explain my cats' behavior?18 Jan 2006 00:11 GMT4
OK, out of curiosity,
I have two male fixed indoor only 1 year old cats. They rarely get in
serious fights (I think) but they do tend to play fight a bit, which
usually ends with my smaller cat holding his ground while my larger cat
Desperate to keep cat off of computer equipment17 Jan 2006 16:39 GMT13
I put some chair plastic with the little sharp
edges, face up on the top of my TiVo and the cats
used it for a back scratcher, it looked like. Then
I put tacks through the plastic and now the only

My tuxedo is one of three cats I own.  Have had her for six
years.  Got her when she was about half grown,  from a no-kill
cat shelter.  She was left with her brothers & sisters at the door
step of the shelter.  My other two cats are very affectionate, but

Declawed Kitty16 Jan 2006 20:38 GMT22
She just had laser surgery for a front declaw.  She seems fine, with no pain
or discomfort.  The vet recommended newspaper in the litterbox for a full
week, as opposed to my clumping litter (Tidy Cats Scoop).
I have an older cat that needs the litter box, however the kitten ...
