Cat tongue04 Dec 2005 22:19 GMT16
My cat has started licking me around the ears and my hair. I've got to say,
she has the roughest tongue. I would have thought a cat's tongue would have
been relatively smooth. I guess the roughness is needed for collecting loose
hair or something.

Kitten after spay04 Dec 2005 11:00 GMT1
First of all when we brought her out to the truck to check her out, blood
came out of her incision and we took her back in and he wrapped a bandage
around her body. She seems miserable. She just keeps meowing. She keeps
pulling our hands toward her with her front paws, but it ...
Cat home from the Vet04 Dec 2005 07:40 GMT5
Well, just got home from the Vet. Had my 8 month old cat spayed. It bothers
me that I was the cause of all her pain. She just looks at me with those sad
eyes but doesn't even whimper. She purrs a little bit which makes me feel a
little better, but until she's up and running around ...
House cat has No Fear.04 Dec 2005 07:29 GMT10
Have you ever seen a tom cat take on a german shepard and win?  Have
you ever seen a house cat take on a human being, and trash the entire
house?  Well, turn on the video camera, and give the kitty one drop of
cinnamon oil, right on the end of it's tongue.
stop cat from peeing on rug?04 Dec 2005 06:50 GMT5
We've had a seventh-generation bengal since he was born about 7 years
ago. He'a an indoor cat and is litterbox-trained. But lately, he's
taken to peeing at various locations. At first, I thought he was
doing this because his litterbox wasn't clean but that's not the case.
Warfarin and Indoor/Outdoor Cat03 Dec 2005 15:43 GMT4
I have an indoor/outdoor cat who comes in most nights (99% of the time
during our harsh winters) and who is confined to a large, warm basement
room (in the same room as our computers) with the door shut. Other
people in the house have allergies, so generally she is not allowed to
Question on Cat's and Humidifiers03 Dec 2005 13:58 GMT4
I'm new to the group. I have a question. Since it's cold here and the
air is dry, we are
putting a humidifer upstars. I'm wondering if there is something safe
we can put in the water so that bacteria doesn't grow in there. There
Ear Mite medicine suggestion03 Dec 2005 04:37 GMT13
I ordered some online and it was vet quality and wasn't cheap...like $29-$32.
I've long since forgotten where I ordered it.  So....
Then I looked up Petco online, I have a local Petco store nearby.
I look up on their website and they have earmite medicine for like $8.99-$12.99.

a drink...anytime he wants.
he often cuddles up to me with a wet head and i'm used to it by now...
even when i'm sleeping at 4am.

Cat vision problems?  How to tell?02 Dec 2005 01:07 GMT6
Is there a way to test for mild-to-moderate vision problems in cats?
I have a kitten, 6 months old, that has been exhibiting some odd
behavior.  Her sister, from the same litter, shows none of these signs.
We brought these kittens home together when they were 6 weeks old.
