I have another question/problem, probably unrelated to my last one.
As I mentioned before, my tortie Chirako has to spend most of her time
shut in my bedroom. She has her food, water, and litter in there, and
she sleeps with me on my bed.

A while back I posted about my cat, Mr. B. He had radioactive iodine
treatment for hyperthyroidism. Following the treatment, his creatinine
and BUN levels rose dramatically and it looked like he was headed for
kidney failure. However, I'm happy to report that he surprised us all:

My cat keeps asking to speak with the mayor.  Especially when he's
hungry or wants something.  I hope he doesn't report me for perceived

I live alone in an apartment with one cat 'Commodus'.
