Installing a cat door23 Nov 2005 03:10 GMT14
Just curious: Which stores sell cat doors, and also install it? How
much would the total cost be (installation in an existing door)? I have
no skills myself and don't want an ugly looking botched up job.  I live
in cold climate so it is even more importat that it is done right.
bereaved cat.22 Nov 2005 23:22 GMT2
My ten-year-old Rosy (Siamese/moggie)  has been on her own now for a week
since her dear friend Lulu died of kidney failure.   For two days she
wouldn't eat at all and I tried all sorts of goodies that she normally wolfs
down,  but no joy.   However, I think she is starting to get ...
Need shocking device for cats.22 Nov 2005 23:20 GMT13
I live on a farm and have a dozen or so barn cats.  I am trying to
change the radiator and anti-freeze on my car and I know how dangerous
anti-freese is for animals.  I cant keep these damn cats away from the
car.  I started to drain the anti-fr and had to stop and pour it back
This is cute. Dog t-Shirt...22 Nov 2005 21:44 GMT1
Tina,
This is sooo cute. I just ordered this for my Maxy (my little
rottie-puppy) who always sleeps and plays with my two older tabby cats.
I like your cat. Dog T-Shirt. -
Will my cats recover from the trauma of a long flight (again)?22 Nov 2005 21:40 GMT6
Some background: My wife and I used to live in the U.S. but a few years ago
we had to (unexpectedly) move back to our home country.  Of course we
brought our two cats with. (They're like my wife's children so we HAD to
bring them.)  Unfortunately the only way to take them on an ...
How can I 'silence'  my cat in heat?22 Nov 2005 09:27 GMT17
Tinkerbelle will be 2 in September.  She gave birth to a litter of 4 kittens
about 5 weeks ago(none of them lied more than a week).
She has gone into heat again.  She is deaf and when she is in heat she is

How much food for 1 1/2 months?22 Nov 2005 03:16 GMT7
This math is killing me, the relation between cups and pounds. Some
friends are going to take care of my 6 lb cat for 40 days. How much dry
food would she need? I don't want them to have to buy any, but also
don't want to buy so much that most of it would go stale.
Cat sitting question22 Nov 2005 03:14 GMT8
In the past we always boarded our cats when we went away.  Now we have
acquired two really high strung sealpoints, retired show cats, and I'm
not sure what's best for them.  I'm pretty sure that a stay at the vet
would really freak them out and it's taken us a few months to get them
Cat Dancing21 Nov 2005 07:51 GMT1
I may be the last one to see this, but I thought there were plenty of people
here that would get a big kick out of it.

cats and aquarium20 Nov 2005 23:31 GMT7
I have two nice adult cats and I want to buy a 30 gallons aquarium
for me and also for the enjoyment of my cats (I have heard that cats like
watching fishes). However I wonder is there is some precautions that I
should take? Should I put a chair in front of the aquarium so ...
Neutered male mounting kitten in heat20 Nov 2005 21:48 GMT6
I would really appreciate your advice on the following.
My barely four-month old kitten is in her first heat cycle. (She has not yet
been spayed, because I wanted the first cycle to come & go.) Now, my neutered
male (1 1/2 years old) is displaying sexual behaviour - mounting her ...
Poll: mousers20 Nov 2005 21:47 GMT3
Are female cats better mousers?
I've had 4 females and 4 males so far, and the females definitely caught
more mice
(and birds). They eat them too whereas the males tend to throw them down at
visiting kitty20 Nov 2005 21:02 GMT11
Can anyone solve this puzzle for me?
I have several stray cats that wander in through my catflap. Most of the
time my cats will just lay there and not even raise an eyebrow as the stray
goes over and starts munching on their food.
Sneezing20 Nov 2005 20:58 GMT13
My 15  year old cat sneezes occasionally, but otherwise seems in good
health. Should I be concerned about it?    Thanks   Richard
Second cat, male or female20 Nov 2005 17:05 GMT3
I have a single cat, she will be three years old soon. Recently I got a
thought about second cat and I'd like to get a kitten. I'm wondering if
I should choose male or female to help them be more social. I'll
appreciate any thoughts.
