Cat fell into a pool...05 Oct 2005 20:31 GMT5
Had I not witnessed it, I wouldn't have believed it.
Over at friends' house last weekend and while we were outside in the
backyard, their cat fell into their pool.
He fell into the nine foot deep end.   None of us actually saw him fall in,
Leaving my Cat while on vacation05 Oct 2005 17:55 GMT2
Here's my question;
I have moved my 12 year old cat from my home that she was raised i
when I moved out about 6 months ago, leaving the house to my adult kid
& 2 dogs & 2 other younger cats (my kids).
Why do our cats wake us up early in the morning?05 Oct 2005 17:50 GMT7
Our two cats wake us up very early in the morning....sit on us and
purrr and purrr till we throw them out or talk to them. They don't like
to see us sleep. Is that normal? How does one stop it?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A teenager skateboarding with friends was fatally

Kevin Rivers, 17, of Jacksonville, was standing by the side of the road with
his skateboard Saturday night when he was struck by a Toyota ...
The Amazing Staring Butterscotch!05 Oct 2005 10:21 GMT2
Ok, so my cat is very vocal when she wants food.  If you've read some other
posts of mine, you know she's on a diet.  Lately, she's taken to staring at
me instead of the usual pawing and meowing.  She just sits by me or sits on
the floor and stares until I move to get up and cave ...
jasmine desexing05 Oct 2005 04:57 GMT3
Yay I just called my vet and they've told me the animal welfare group is
offering 50% off desexing vouchers, valid for three months. So that's great,
i can get jasmine desexed as soon as she has the kittens. When would you all
advise that I take her in for desexing?? I really don't ...
Food..  Meats/Poultry vs. Seafood?05 Oct 2005 04:15 GMT3
Hey all -
A quick question to all of you.
I adopted my 3 1/2 year old cat from a local shelter, and when I got her she
was really rather under weight (she's only about 6 pounds, and is long
ADULT/KITTEN FOOD?04 Oct 2005 23:57 GMT1
I have got two (2 year old)cats and I rescued another 2 kittens approx 7
weeks ago.  For the first week I fed the cats and the kittens in different
rooms (cats on adult food and kittens fed on kitten food) until they all
got used to each other, after the first week I started to feed ...

Cat is acting like he is cannot walk04 Oct 2005 17:50 GMT3
My male cat just started acting as if he cannot walk after jumping down
from from things like chairs.  It is as if his hind legs are not right, he
has been to the vet just last week and was found to be normal.  He almost
acts like he is drunk, but then after a few moments, he is ...
Faddy cat!04 Oct 2005 13:50 GMT2
I've just adopted my mum's cat.  He's a 9 year old ginger tom called Oscar.
He seems healthy enough, and is house trained so no problem there.  The only
niggle I have got is that he won't eat tinned food or food from pouches.  My
mum said he was fine with tinned/pouches before he ...
PETCO vs. PetSmart04 Oct 2005 07:12 GMT6
Last week, I stopped in at Petco - I left without buying anything.
Their prices are way out of line with reality.  Their response was
also pathetic and when I pointed out to them just how overpriced they
were, they didn't have any response.
At what time(s) do you feed your cat?04 Oct 2005 03:57 GMT29
Just curious, I realize this is not the deepest subject. :) My kitty
starts disturbing our sleep around 4AM, but we try to remain firm and
feed her between 6AM-7AM, and then again 6PM-7PM.
Mousers04 Oct 2005 02:59 GMT1
I am interested in getting buying a car when I get my own apartment
soon. I want to get a mouser. Does anyone know any details about them?
They look so sweet in pictures I have seen. Does anyone know price
ranges and any special care they may need?
