Weird, A weekender (tourist) was at one of the cabins near mine and their
Labrador Retriever ran over and jumped up on me, presumably to say "Hi

Every morning around 5:00 or 5:30 or so, my cat will start jumping up
on the bed then jumping from there to the windowsill, then back down

Does anybody in the US know of any organized pet rescue efforts in those
devastated areas?  Of course the main thrust has to be getting the human
refugees to safety, but surely there are at least some surviving pets.

I just found this ng. I visited anothe ng pertaining to cats, but found the
people to be very nasty at times. So far I havent read anything that would
make me not want to visit here.

Over the years, I have owned cats, letting them outside as they wish,
but my spouce is allergic to cats. Is there any preticular breed or
