New kitten after bereavement?30 Sep 2005 20:40 GMT2
My friend has recently lost one of her cats in a road accident. The cat
was one of a brother/sister pair and only twelve months old. Should she
get a new kitten sooner or later in order to provide a companion for
her other cat who is missing his sister?
Caring for a stray (3): Any charitable vets/clinics in greater Chicago area?30 Sep 2005 18:25 GMT7
Still continuing about the stray/homeless cat I feed...
I don't know if she has been spayed, gotten any shots ever, what her
general health condition is, etc.
It would give me great peace of mind if there are any charitable vets
Odor removal30 Sep 2005 14:58 GMT3
I have a cat that has a fetish for peeing on school bags. She's very polite
about it though - she only does it when we leave them on the floor. She
won't touch them if they're on a chair or the couch.
So, does anyone have a proven method for getting the smell out of a bag?

A few days ago I told you kind folks about how a cat I had rescued from
the animal shelter had been urinating on our bed.  (This was during the
first week he had been home, when we kept him in our room as he got
used to the house and to the smell of our 3 other cats.)

I've been working on a more realistic 3-D type of glass engraving.  I have a
new site:  www.Canvases-of-Crystal.com  I have a guest book and suggestion
form.  I'm very curious as to how people will react to their pets engraved
in glass.

Automatic Feeders, Non-Electric29 Sep 2005 07:43 GMT2
Just a heads up for those that have a "Dollar General" in their area. I
found an automatic pet feeder and automatic waterier for $5 each with
their cat supplies. They are pretty nice and work good.
So if anyone is looking for one, check 'em out!
Any cat grass farmers?29 Sep 2005 04:12 GMT9
I have a spayed, declawed, indoor cat in her mid adult years.  I can't go
outside whithout her waiting at the door, wide-eyed, for her daily couple
blades of grass.  (Any more, and she throws up).  But she is so particular
about which grass!  She will only eat some types of wide ...
