My parents own 2 birds, a quaker parrot and cockatiel. They sometimes let the birds out of their room with the cats roaming the house. They always hunt the birds, it's really neat to watch their hunting methods. One day, the one of the birds was walking on the top of our coach.

For a variety of reasons I would like to work our a feeding schedule so my cat would be unlikely to have to "go" during night (say midnight to sunrise). How long after eating/drinking do cats tend to have to "go"?

I have three cats, two of them 3 yrs old, and the other just under 1 yr. The cats are 90% house cats, they have access to the back garden supervised a few times per day. Now...I really want to buy an African Grey Parrot, a young one too - maybe a bird aged 2 - 4 months.

to use on 2x4 as a 'ladder' to climb to shelf... It's going to be about a 5 ft. climb straight up. Is shag or medium shag or close cropped carpet better? Thanks : -)
