I have an older cat that I've had for six years and must have been abused.
He will still not let me hold him except if I suprise him & then only for
5-6 seconds. Our other cats had eye infections a few months ago but he never
got it. They all went to vet, so I know what this is, ...

not train her right (ie,putting her in a cage) and we let her roam the
house immediatly. We never had any seriousproblems with her, just ...
Cat Overpopulation14 Jul 2005 01:02 GMT80
Well, I don't know if any of you recall me saying something about going to
Italy this summer and asking for traveling tips.  At any rate, I just got
back from a 3 week trip and I have to say that while it was utterly amazing,
I was so upset by the huge stray cat problem they have ...
Cats Fat Belly - Any Ideas?13 Jul 2005 21:50 GMT21
My cat is approx. 16 years old, recently his belly has swollen up.
His stomach feels very hard, like he is backed up.
He is at the Vet now, for the 3rd day.  They performed an enema on him the
first day.

I am so sad at the moment and so are my 2 cats.....
On Thursday I went out and as usual I let the cats outside,
when I came home I caught my one cat just about crossing the main road
not far from us. Well my heart skipped a beat, "hey you, get home nowwwwww"

Update: Drinkwell!13 Jul 2005 14:18 GMT1
Now that it's unplugged, I have seen Xedo drinking from the fountain.
Guess I should wait until I see Fray D Puss doing the same. Then maybe
this weekend plug it in again?
Replies appreciated.

Opinions on Feline Pine?13 Jul 2005 02:30 GMT23
I am using Arm & Hammer scoopable litter, but am getting sensitive to its
smell.  I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, so I don't want to go out and
buy just anything.  I bought one (It might have been Fresh Step) and it
immediately made me sick.  I shoulda taken it back, but I ...
16 year Old cat won't clean his furr! ??12 Jul 2005 18:32 GMT3
I have a 16 year old cat whom I've adored for as many years.  For th
past month or so he hasn't been grooming himself and has gotten reall
nasty and dirty looking.  He is an outside cat only because he wants t
be. We've tried to get him to come in but he refuses.
How do you fine bare skin on Coon cat to apply Frontline?12 Jul 2005 15:35 GMT7
Spread the fur..spread it more..then again.
I'm thinking this...you know that commercial that advertises little razor
that shaves off hair in small doses?  I'm gonna get that.
No way can I get Frontline on back of cat by "spreading fur and looking for skin."
