Cat with Thyroid Problem20 Jul 2005 21:36 GMT1
We were told that our 19 year old cat has a thyroid problem.  In the last 6
months his appetite has increased tremendously. He howls for food starting
at 4 AM & wants to eat 6 to 7 times a day eating a small portion each time.
Other than the hunger symptoms what are the long term ...

I have two mature (8-10 years old) house trained female cats. They were
rescue cats and i have had them for nearly four years. They have settled
down ok and go out into the garden at night etc and always come back.

Cat throwing up20 Jul 2005 04:50 GMT11
I would like to know what to do when a cat throws up undigested food.  You
see, one of our cats threw up undigested food and I would like to know if I
should make a vet appointment ASAP to see if there's anything wrong with
him.

Which human foods can cats eat?20 Jul 2005 00:44 GMT131
Which human foods can cats eat? Not as exclusive diet, but once in a
while, without harming their health.
A casual glance at our fridge shows: cooked shrimp, baked chicken, ham,
bacon, sausage, canned tuna, salmon. Oh, and I just scambled some eggs
How deep is your lov....I mean litter?20 Jul 2005 00:31 GMT1
I try to put between 1 and 2 inches, but lately she seems to want to
move half the litter over to 1 side of the tray and create a huge
pile.
Is she just neurotic (all cats are, aren't they?) or do I need ot use
Where there's a will there's a way....19 Jul 2005 23:08 GMT7
I wrote last week, crowing about how I thought we had finally managed to
secure our back garden to prevent our cat Rosie from escaping.  Famous last
words!
It worked for quite some time, but for days we could see her, sitting back

Cats and their balance19 Jul 2005 21:07 GMT4
My first cat is just fully grown now at about 9 months and has adjusted
well to the house.  A few weeks ago I decided to get another kitten and
this one is only about a month old.  I'm concerned that if I let it go
free around the house that it might fall from the top of the stairs ...
Ferocious, Biting, Ravage, Pain-Inflicting Cat19 Jul 2005 10:30 GMT15
Okay, so perhaps he is not quite that bad, but he does bite.  He's a
year old, indoor, neutered American Shorthair and I love him so, but he
bites.  I'm okay with him biting if I invade his space; I understand
that if he doesn't want to be petted that I should just stay away.  He

Does anyone else have a cat with incisors that are so long that they are
pushing the bottom lip down on the cat? Is this common?
