Electronic fences for cats...01 Aug 2005 00:28 GMT3
My kitty came and went as she pleased when I lived in Texas, but I just
moved to Northern California and was told that I shouldn't let her roam
outside because there are so many coyotes, foxes, and possibly mountain
lions that come down from the nearby mountain.
What breed is my cat?31 Jul 2005 23:22 GMT1
I know that most cats are mixed.  But is there a web site or a book
that will walk you through the characteristics of a cat to help
determine what breed (or breeds) a cat is?

Cujo. They are both indoor cats and they are my babies. One question I have

My cat bats at me when I pet her I think she's playing but then she HISSES30 Jul 2005 23:11 GMT12
This troubles me. I am not typically the one who plays with her in our
house. My husband is. He actually gets bites but its all in good fun.
My cat has a history. She first came to live with my parents about 7
years ago. She was a very tense, hyper-sensitive, unfriendly cat. She

NEED HELP - MY RUTHERFORD'S FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT!30 Jul 2005 15:08 GMT10
A while ago (about a year) I posted some concerns I had regarding my cat
rutherford, and since then, he's been great.  He stopped urinating on
the floor, he uses his box, and there has been no accidents...
Until now.
How to calm a vicious cat30 Jul 2005 00:34 GMT15
Okay, I am a relatively new cat person, and this is my first time posting to
this group, but I am desperatly in need of advice, and possibly a helping
hand. Here is my situation. It's kind of a long story, so bear with me:
A year ago I was living with two roommates at which time we ...
How smart are cats?30 Jul 2005 00:15 GMT6
Rhetorical question really. We have a cat flap in our kitchen door, and I've
lost count of the times I've replaced the plastic flap part, due to the door
opening too far and the little projections at the top on two sides which hold
the flap to the frame breaking. So last week I gave ...
Dry or canned: best food at various price points?29 Jul 2005 21:02 GMT5
Rather than rekindle the usual canned versus dry debate, I would like
to ask which is better, not in an absolute sense, but at a particular
price point?
My cat eats approximately one 6z can per day:
my cat is butt-scooting29 Jul 2005 16:03 GMT12
Now what in the heck can this possibly mean?
I have a female cat who I adopted about 3 months ago now.  She has had the
problem of not covering her poop in the cat box, and so I have used various
methods to try to get her to cover the poop.  We are getting to the point
How to get cats to get along?29 Jul 2005 12:29 GMT2
My adorable and precious kitty soon will have to live with my brother's

younger kitty manages to kick her a.s.  Actually I hate my brother's cat,
but I'm supposed to find out how to get them to get along.  My ...
travelling with cats29 Jul 2005 05:10 GMT1
Twice a year, I have to bring my cats with me for a 5 hours trip to my
parent home. They don't like it but one of the cat just sit still in the
cage and don't complain. However, the other is very nervous, complain all
the time and panic. So I give that cat a pill, an acevet ...
