Clavimox09 Jun 2005 05:17 GMT4
I was getting ready to give my cat some Clavimox for the first time.
After failing to open the protective cap by peeling it off I just
bashed my finger through it. I then stuck the dropper into it and
wondered why no liquid came out. Then I noticed this white powder. I

Cat restraint bags09 Jun 2005 02:41 GMT26
Has anyone ever tried using a cat restraint bag (or other
apparatus) to restrain a cat? I recently took in a sweet,
feral cat but he is almost impossible to medicate (I need to
give him oral and ear medications). I have tried wrapping him

Teminology: A word for abdominal skin fold?08 Jun 2005 19:12 GMT5
I'm referring to that pouch/fold of skin that hangs down off their abdomen.
Sort of flops from side-to-side when they walk.    My first reaction was "Geeze,
here's a cat that needs cosmetic surgery...."... then I realized it was a normal
occurrance.
limping cat.. arthritis?08 Jun 2005 17:37 GMT3
I have a cat who is about 9 years old. She has recently begun limping around
a bit  and looks very stiff when she walks. She seems to be eating normally
but lays around the house a lot. She also seems to be losing some muscle
mass. We took her to the local vet and they told us that ...

Is anyone familiar with Majesticoon cats? I keep seeing references to them
on the internet. Having an ordinary tabby ourselves I am not so
knowledgeable about these more exotic types.

Bathing cats.08 Jun 2005 16:00 GMT14
I have seen this mentioned a couple of times.  I had cats previously and I
would bathe them every now and then.
What is the recommended routine for this?
I just adopted three cats and I can only imagine that I may be able to give

Cats pupils uneven08 Jun 2005 13:53 GMT3
I've just noticed one of my cats pupils don't contract the same amount.
We've always said her eyes look crazy or insane sometimes, but just now we
were playing and the sun from the window was right on her face and one eye
contracted more than the other. Not a whole lot but it's ...

hey there:
living in a place on the seventh floor with a balcony and worried my cat
