Hungry Cat13 Jun 2005 15:25 GMT2
Do most cats when they get older (20 years) become more demanding about what
they eat?  Ours can hardly make it thorough the night before he start's
screaming for food. He'll eat small portions at a time (1/3 can fancy feast)
& is getting very picky as to what types he'll eat. He's ...
Really angry at local Animal Shelter13 Jun 2005 12:43 GMT11
One of our cats, a rescue, who a neighbor dropped
off was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia. I couldn't
afford to have her put down and wanted a second
opinion. The Vet said that the test was 95 or 99%

to your cats? I'm a big fan.
New Kittens & Suckeling13 Jun 2005 05:41 GMT4
Hi!  Hi just adopted 2 kittens (now about 9 wks old) a male and female.
About a week after I got them the female kitten started suckeling on her
brothers chest and neck. Once in awhile he will try and fight her off but
usually he just gives in and goes to sleep while she does it.  ...
My experiences with Humane Society13 Jun 2005 04:59 GMT1
I see two threads going on about the health of humane society/pound
animals.  I understand that they are usually short-funded and short-
staffed.
I just adopted three cats from the humane society.
Have you all heard of this before?13 Jun 2005 04:14 GMT7
Two of my cats were neutered at the humane society and they clipped their
ears?
Initally--I thought George had inherited two types of ears--one rounded and
one pointed.  The ear that they trimmed was perfectly round.  I didn't know
Staywell 500 Infra red cat door13 Jun 2005 03:53 GMT9
I am looking to purchase a new cat door.  I have a Staywell 32 that I have
had for a while (still boxed, never used) but the house I am moving into has
a metal skinned door where I want to fit the cat door.  According to the
user guide, it won't work in a metal door (becuase its ...
just adopted a second cat12 Jun 2005 22:45 GMT1
I am new to this grouop and happy to find some more information on cats.
However, I have not researched yet on my topic as my two cats keep me busy
and I need fast advise cause I don't want anything to happen or create two
life time long enemies.
New Kitten, Older Cat12 Jun 2005 20:16 GMT2
My wife and I have the opportunity to adopt a young kitten.  Question is,
how will our present cat Nutmeg react to the newcomer?  She's a 6 year old
neutered female, strictly an indoor cat.  Best case scenerio, she has a new
friend.  Worst case, she attacks it.
adding a new cat12 Jun 2005 16:10 GMT15
I have read a lot of ppls posts to other topics, and reading the variety

Cats and FIP12 Jun 2005 12:43 GMT3
My cat Punky has FIP since July 2004. We treated her with Interferon and
Bach blossoms. Nobody expected that she would live to see Christmas, but now
it is June 2005 and she is still alive.
Does anyone have experience with the treatment of a cat with Interferon???
Special Birthday Meal11 Jun 2005 23:25 GMT6
For my babies up coming birthday I was thinking of giving her a whole
package of cat treats. Would this be real unhealthy or cause loose stools or
anything else bad?Usually she gets a can of tuna, but she's been extra good
this year and deserves something special.

Problem shipping cat UPS10 Jun 2005 17:52 GMT7
I sold a cat on Ebay and as soon as I got the payment I sent the cat
by UPS.  I was very careful to thoroughly wrap the cat in newspaper,
after I duct taped it's legs to the body to be sure it would not claw
thru the box.  Then I proceeded by placing it in a plastic hefty bag.
Wet maryweather09 Jun 2005 23:44 GMT6
I have mentioned before that some of my cats like to go out in the
rain, stomp around in mud puddles, then come in and walk over me, the
bed, other furniture, etc.  Ordinarily they don't do this in heavy
rain, but last night, Maryweather came in about ten minutes after the
