Cat Health Problem - Long20 Jun 2005 21:51 GMT9
I'm trying to decide how to deal with a cat problem, and was looking for
different points of view. I have a 15 year old cat. She is a domestic
short hair, and has lived inside her entire life. She has easy access to
her litter box, water, and food, which are in the garage, ...
child and kitten20 Jun 2005 20:27 GMT6
My 3 year old daughter has always expressed interest in having a kitten. We
recently moved into a 4 bedroom house and I have finally given in. I adopted
a kitten and brought it home to surprise her. She seemed happy with the
kitten……. At first.

We have a 9 year old Bengal female, Tigger, and we would like to get another
cat.  Tigger grew up with a small dog and we had to have him put down 2 years
ago.  They pretty much co-existed and she definitely ruled the roost but she
watched out for him (meowed at us when his food ...
Another food oddity20 Jun 2005 04:03 GMT5
Last night I was transferring cat food from 20 pound bags into plastic
buckets.  The food bowl was empty when I got home and the buckets were
empty, so I processed one bag, fed the cats, then processed the other.
Ozy insists on eating out of the bucket - the food just poured into

moving with outside cat18 Jun 2005 11:01 GMT10
I have a 13 yr old cat who has been, due to allergies and my partner an
outside cat for the last 8 years. Now we are moving to an area in the
mountains of Tennessee where I'm not sure she will be safe outside. She was
born next door to my house and has known no other place. Any ...

I recently bought a kitten and his eye is weeping. I thought he just got
dust or something in it, so I've been treating it with salt water. Now it's
hard for him to open, and bloodshot. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow,
but just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for how to ...
Kittens at the vet18 Jun 2005 10:49 GMT1
I brought our three little ones (8 weeks now) for their first shots: gosh,
they certainly behaved very badly: growling, screaming, scratching! The vet
was quite surprised! I had to hold them very tight but still got some of the
injection LOL. The vet said it was like injecting ...
A beautiful kitten18 Jun 2005 02:34 GMT14
Several months ago my beloved white cat Blanca died rather suddenly. I was
crushed as she was my "little darlin". Yesterday while driving to work there
was a gorgeous white kitten beside the road and naturally I knew God had
placed it there for me( sorry if some of you refuse to ...

My kitten recently got a weepy eye.  I've been treating it with saline frequently.  It's still weepy and bloodshot.  Any suggestions?

unwanted cat using my cat's magnetic cat flap17 Jun 2005 23:38 GMT10
Help!  There's another cat coming in and eating my cat's food and tramping
all over my work surfaces.  Being a 'Tom' it's leaving its smell behind him,
its driving me demented.  I've had the cat flap taken apart, cleaned, and
bits renewed - but to no avail.  Any advice please??

The older one is not neutered, do you think he will kill the kitten?

Strange meowing or crying.???17 Jun 2005 16:13 GMT4
Hi. We have a female cat that is about 9 months old. She has been
fixed. We are just wondering about a toy (item) we let her play with
and the vocal response she makes when she picks it up in her mouth.
The toy is a blue fuzzy ball (kinda like short fur) about 1 inch in
Water Kitty17 Jun 2005 00:50 GMT11
O'siyo everyone.
I was wondering if anyone else had a cat that loves water.   My younger one
(Peeve, she's 8-9) loves water.  My other cat (Patches, 13, older, prim and
proper  lol) looks at her as if to say, 'don't you know that stuff if wet?'
