female kitten doesn't squat when peeing05 May 2005 21:07 GMT5
My female kitty (8 months old) uses the litter box, but she squats to start
peeing and right before she lets go or as she is going, she stands straight
up and the pee goes on the wall and down the side of litter box. She was the
runt of the litter & last one born.  Could this be ...
FOAMING AT THE MOUTH05 May 2005 20:49 GMT2
I can not find the post now but if memory serves me correctly some one
wrote about their cat foaming from its mouth.
Recently our cat came out of the window well gagging and foaming at the
mouth. The foaming continued for nearly 10 minutes.
Can cats smile?05 May 2005 03:53 GMT1
I think if any of you own cats, you are probably familiar with the way
your kitty blinks her eyes slowly at you when she is happy.  Lots of
people call this a 'cat-smile'.
I've tried to add this information to wikipedia, an online encyclopedia
Natty Cat litter05 May 2005 00:22 GMT2
I live in Sydney & have been told by a friend in QLD that this is the ONLY
type of litter folks should use as it is totally biodegradable, ie can use
it in the garden once the cats have finished with it.
Am also told it lasts up to10 times the life of normal litter without
Cat sneezing and runny eyes04 May 2005 23:05 GMT1
I've got a cat which has started to sneeze over the last couple of days.
It's pretty persistent. Her eyes are also discharging. Any ideas? I'm
looking to take her to the vets tomorrow (if I can catch her) but was
wondering if anyone recognised these symptons?

She eats everything, but is still losing weight04 May 2005 21:55 GMT1
My Tabitha will eat everything in sight, but she is still losing weight.
She is now down to 7 pounds.  Blood and urine were tested and everything
is absolutely normal.  She is 9 years old.  Lately she has become very
lethargic.  I am taking her for an ultrasound in a few days.  I ...

Cat going nuts04 May 2005 06:28 GMT10
I thought I'd give my cats a treat and bought some fresh cat mint and rubbed
some onto the cat tree - now I have a cat going nuts,  rolling about there
since a long time. With dried stuff I never got such a reaction.
I also wanted to get a laser pointer, but I just cannot find one ...
Feral kittens04 May 2005 01:46 GMT3
I found a feral kitten and I believe it's 4 weeks.  Am I doing this kitten
a favor by taking it in or is it too young?
How to make a cat not sleep/lay-down in front of my door.03 May 2005 23:32 GMT3
I have a cat problem with my neighbors cat. The cat wanders around all
day/night and when it returns it lays down in the hallway just before
my door. For some reason it seems to prefer that particular spot. My
neighbor doesn't seem to think this is a problem, but even though i'm
Breeding for termperment?03 May 2005 18:15 GMT7
Are any breeds of cat selected for temperment?
Just plain "100% Cat" cats seem to vary so widely that selecting one for a
housepet seems like a significant gamble.
help cat sick03 May 2005 17:20 GMT2
My cat suffered from aspirin poisoning. We took her to the vet. She almost
died but seemed to make a good recovery. Once we got her back home she was
very weak but continued to improve. Then we took her to the vet to see how
she was doing. He said she was doing better but after ...

Every morning it's the same thing with Isis. I get up. I have not had
coffee. This is bad - very bad. I need that hot java.
Isis is all antsy. She walks in little circles in front of me while I
Cats and pill taking.03 May 2005 06:18 GMT19
Was just wondering how some of yous get your Furbabies to take pills.  My Sam has to take
meds for about the next week or so starting with 2 a day and ending with 1 every other
day.
He is about 2 and luckily they trimmed his claws when he had his teeth cleaned.  When I
