Depression in cat.29 May 2005 01:18 GMT12
Hey all.
Lenny got into another fight today and both me, my mother and my father
had to get in there to seperate the cats - it was brutal.  Lenny tore
his ear and thankfully that's not too serious but he's now very depressed.
Cat urine in carpet28 May 2005 22:11 GMT6
I hope someone can help.  We had new carpet installed in our
family room and our 15 year old cat urinated on it.  He's
never done this before so we think it was caused by changing
the family room's floor covering.  I got a black light and
Drinking from Faucet28 May 2005 18:05 GMT9
I have a 10 year old cat and I got from an animal shelter several months.
It appears its former owner never set out water, and perhaps had a leaky
faucet because that's what the cat wants to drink from.  I tolerated this
until a few days ago but now he's decided to wake me up about ...

Newbie stuff: Best value in cat foods? Dry or canned?27 May 2005 09:22 GMT10
We have sort of "adopted" a cat that visits us once or twice a day. I
wouldn't mind keeping her but she is a free spirit and I think
confinement would be a torture for her now.
Her behavior is quite aristocratic: For example one of her visits is in

I know that carnivore excrement is a nono, but does anyone know of a way
of treating it such that it could be used in compost safely ?

Howdy folks,

Kitty Lonliness26 May 2005 18:38 GMT3
I went to Washington, D.C. for four days last week.  I generally have no
problem leaving my kitty, Butterscotch, alone for a night or two on the
weekend if I go out of town.  She doesn't mess up the house and seems to be
fine when I get back.  But I couldn't even think to leave ...
Male cat urinating on kitchen counter26 May 2005 18:34 GMT5
My 6 year old Bengal male has started urinating on the kitchen countertops.
Sometimes it is a lot and other times it is only a few drops.  He also uses
the litterbox.  He seems healthy in every way. Does anyone know what's up
with him?
My cat's newest sleeping spot!26 May 2005 16:57 GMT1
You know the fuzzy covers that you can put on the toilet seat?  Well my
cat has decided that she likes to sleep there.  Now everytime someone
has to use the bathroom we have to lift her up and put her back when we
finish! - LOL!

Put it on Kiwi bout a week and a half ago and it rapidly killed off
the few fleas he had picked up out, but now already he seems to be
crawling in them, like i have not ever treated him and they don't look
