Plastic bag licking22 Apr 2005 00:55 GMT9
Would anyone care to hazard a guess as to why my cat likes to occasionally
lick plastic bags?  It only seems to be the white plastic bags that come
from stores like Wal-Mart and Target.  He will sometimes sit there in the
middle of the night and just lick, lick, lick the bag in one ...

Prayer request for our missing cat named Buffo. He was last seen on
April 18th Monday at 8 p.m. He's not a type of cat to stay outdoor too
long for no more than 1/2 an hour. He still has not come home for 2
nights.   We looked everywhere for him and calling him by name and no

We currently live in a top floor flat with 3 lovely cats.  We have purchased
our first house, a four bedroom detached house with enclosed back garden.
Few questions:

One has developed a weird condition.  It scratches it's back and hair has
been falling off in clumps.  There is now a bald spot right on her back by
her tail and it's a few inches wide.

I have a 12 week old kitten and an older boy at 9 months old. When we got

pees on it. He just ruined my area rug. He has been doing this for close
to 2 years now. My vet it at a loss for why. Any help would be ...

Eating Catnip20 Apr 2005 19:41 GMT4
Is it strange for a cat to eat fresh catnip?  I've started a small pot for
our cat but as soon as it starts to grow, he mows it down to the stem.
Opposite of catnip?20 Apr 2005 18:42 GMT16
Is there anything that is essentially the opposite of catnip?
My recently adopted (about a month ago) 15 week old kitten has for the
past two weeks been acting like she's high on catnip about half the
time now.  I'm certain she isn't, because she's an indoor cat (whether
Cat Urine Odor20 Apr 2005 15:17 GMT5
I have a cemented down carpet in my basement on which my cat peed.  Does
anyone have a sure-fire cure on getting rid of the smell (other than ripping
up the carpet, of course)?  I've heard that some types of enzymes will
work - but the ones I've tried have failed.  Thanks......
