Re: Dianne Re: Thank you Melody.22 Mar 2005 05:39 GMT2
However did this person manage that many pets in one house??!!
I used to share a house with a woman who was a "collector". It didn't

females, (who all had 4 kittens within the same week), 3 adult males,
clumping cat litter w/ no dust22 Mar 2005 05:35 GMT3
I have used Arm and Hammer clumping litter w/ no fragrance for awhile
but lately the dust rises up when I pour it in so I decided to change
brands. I tried Scoopaway w/ (supposedly) no fragrance but that has
clouds of dust when poured as well (and has a distinctly perfumed

We've just discovered that ants are getting in somewhere underneath our

ant powder or something else to get rid of them but how do I know if these
things are safe to cats..? If my cat were to step in it and ...
Why do we need designer pets?21 Mar 2005 14:30 GMT31
Maybe I'm the oddball here, but what is the big fuss over pedigree cats and
dogs? A friend of our family is looking to buy a pure Russian Blue. She has
a lead on a breeder and is waiting for her cat to be "made". This
infuriates me when there are many wonderful creatures waiting at ...

cat started to fart after switching to Iams21 Mar 2005 02:12 GMT6
I've fed my cat Meow Mix for years and decided to switch to Iams after
seeing her improved coat and paws after her stays at a kennel where
they fed her Iams. (The better looking paws turns out to be due to her
being kept in an enclosure that is a lot less dusty than my house... no
Thank you Melody!20 Mar 2005 21:00 GMT2
I brought the water up to Whiskers instead of him going downstairs.  He
really lapped it up!  Then I brought his food up and hand-fed him.  He ate,
yayyyyy!  I left the food on a towel because he's still under the bed.  I
feel a bit better now.  :-)  Thanks again!

Rabies shot question20 Mar 2005 17:23 GMT4
We just adopted a 2+ year old black cat named Whiskers from the Humane

this morning, but then toward noon got very lethargic, has been sleeping the
whole rest of the day, hasn't eaten, drank water or peed ...
