| How to get a cat to drink more water? | 03 Feb 2005 20:28 GMT | 19 |
My Charlie has just been diagnosed with having crystals in urine, so is advised to drink more water (+special food). Since he doesn;t really drink much, and apart from mixing water in his dry food-which he is getting used to, how else do you give your cats water?

I am new to this newsgroup, so forgive me if you have discussed this before. My cat appears to have a broken tail. He came home yesterday, and the last three inches of his tail is just hanging limp. I palpated the area and he seems to have a great amount of pain, but only when ...

| Question: Trimming Maine Coon Fur? | 03 Feb 2005 05:54 GMT | 2 |
Is it necessary or advisable to keep the hair trimmed short around the anal area of a Maine Coon in-door house cat? This would be assuming that this procedure might lessen the possibility of fresh litter box feces to "stick" around that

| What to expect after spaying? | 02 Feb 2005 23:14 GMT | 4 |
Oreo is going in to see the vet tomorrow, and coming back home an "it". She's about 7 months old now, but she seems so little, maybe 4 or 5 pounds. The vet isn't too concerned, though. She's healthy as can be, just small.

I have two kittens that will hit the 6 month old mark in a couple days. Tonight, the male, Sachi, has begun to grab a hold of Hana's (the female) nape. Is this mating behavior by Sachi? It sure looks like it, but Hana is not in heat. Is it okay to let them stay

Today, at my friends, a farmer, I saw a most beautiful cat! Imagine a Siamese, but the points are grey tabby (it is a cross between a Siam and a tabby). What would you call this unusual colour?

So, I have this grey tabby, he is cool, I like him. Problem is that every night, between 11pm and 4am, he goes nuts... At random intervals he just starts howling at the walls. It does not take place at any particular spot, nor does it happen at the same time each night.
