Origin of Cats08 Jan 2005 05:31 GMT2
A newly discovered chapter in the Book of Genesis has provided the answer to
"Where do pets come from?"
Adam and Eve said, "Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us
every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is
cats and plug in air fresheners : problem? (cross posted)08 Jan 2005 00:26 GMT16
A freind of mine started using the plug in air fresheners and all her cats
came down with bad Upper Respiritory Infections. she thinks the fresheners
did it. I don't see how. I can understand an alergic reaction from some
cats. anyone have a similar experience?
first shelter visit07 Jan 2005 23:30 GMT11
I am thinking about getting another little kitten for Elwood to play with,
so I went to the local shelter today to see what it was like. I have never
visited a shelter before, it was quite a depressing experience.
I arrived at the local shelter, and there was a young girl about 17 ...

I have an 11 yo male cat. 2.5 years ago, he became sick. I noticed he was
losing weight, so off to the vet we went. From August to January my cat went
from 16 lbs to 8 lbs. He was deteriorating. It had our vet baffled.  All he
knew was Aaron was extremely anemic and had a bad heart ...

Where to buy prescription food online?07 Jan 2005 07:00 GMT3
Hi, my Charlie has been diagnosed with urinary crystals, and has to be on a
prescription diet for good from now on :(  So since his prescription food is
rather expensive, (and it seems other 4 tend to munch it more then him),
just wonder if anyone knows any good online stores that ...
Cats and leather sofas07 Jan 2005 05:22 GMT13
We are about to replace our existing sofas.  One of the reasons is that the
edge where our two cats (Monty and Jerry) like to scratch now looks like a
pile of spaghetti where they have shredded it.( we tried the sprays and the
smell they make stops use sitting there).

question on eye drops07 Jan 2005 04:04 GMT6
Hi everyone! I have a question on the eye infections all my cats have. The
mother cat I think has been the carrier, but never had the red, swollen
eyes, but just clear runny sometimes & sneezes. All 4 kittens and my 3 yr
old have had the full blown eye infections. The vet has seen ...

Cat wandering06 Jan 2005 05:54 GMT1
We have had our cat for a year now and all of a sudden he has started
wandering for about 4 days at a time and not coming back to even eat. He
isn't desexed (he is booked in - hopefully he will be back in time for the
appointment) and I was just wondering if anyone had any ...
Help With Sick Cat After Spay!!05 Jan 2005 20:50 GMT3
My little baby, Bella, was spayed on Dec. 23rd. She did OK after the
surgery, but went downhill about 5 days later. Her incision was swollen  and
she was very lethargic for a day. I took her to the vet who found her
temperature to be 106.1!!!! They admitted her overnight and gave ...
