adoption preparation03 Jan 2005 05:56 GMT6
We are looking at adopting a cat from a local shelter, but wanted to
know what questions we should ask before adopting, and what we should
prepare for both in house proofing and financially.
Here's a link to the cat we're thinking about.
Friend's Cat Pulling Hair Out03 Jan 2005 05:47 GMT2
Greetings Everyone,
I'm new to this group, but I have a question and can't seem to find any
answers in any of the posts so far.
My friend's cat "Easter" (long story on that one) is pulling her hair out

New Kitten/Older Cat02 Jan 2005 22:48 GMT1
I just got a new kitten and am looking for a bit of advice.  First I'm just
curious hjow to tell how old he might be.  I got him from an animal shelter
and they told me they thought he was 10-12 weeks old, but he is not much
bigger than the palm of my hand.  He has teeth and he ...

Now I posted here before about my cat and was told that she sees me doing it

Cats Love Anxiety, Don't They?02 Jan 2005 02:19 GMT1
I've been living with Isis, my 5 or 6 year old long-haired Tabby, for about
4 years now.
I've been reflecting on what goes on around this house. One of the
conclusions I've come to is that she, and possibly all cats, seem to love
Happy New Year02 Jan 2005 02:04 GMT8
Wishing a good 2005 to all my fellow cat lovers and their noble beasties.
My resolution: to post once and awhile.  The past year has been too damn
busy!  But as that TV commercial says, you gotta eat.
Is biting that bad?01 Jan 2005 20:53 GMT17
When I play with my kitten, he likes to nip and bite my fingers. However, he
knows when to stop without inflicting any pain. I let out a little yell
(even though it doesn't hurt at all) and he eases up.
Is this a bad habit for him to get into, even though he doesn't hurt me?
What Happened??01 Jan 2005 15:14 GMT15
Did a 12 Volt Battery kill my cat?
Waking out of bed, I saw my cat "leap" backwards and fall about 4 feet to a
table top...
Grabbing my glasses, I saw and thought that he was having a convulsion...
Anyone Use Air Purifiers?01 Jan 2005 14:19 GMT4
We are remodeling a room for our foster cats, and we want to put an
air purifier in there to keep the stink down a bit (we scoop about 4-5
times a day in the room they are in now). We need to keep them all
separate, as our own cats all have FIV. I was just wondering if anyone
Cat not eating..01 Jan 2005 11:48 GMT2
I have an 8yr. old over weight cat who for the last 4 days hasn't eaten. She
follows me to her room as if to get fed but when I give her food she just
looks at it and walks away. She acts as if she wants something else. I have
been trying different things, I even tried to give her ...
Where will it stop?????01 Jan 2005 01:02 GMT32
Sherry and Mary,
Here is a link that you might be interested in. When I saw it, it
appalled me to no end. If it's not bad enough that we have unwanted
animals in our world, now they feel that they have to clone them.
