We are looking at adopting a cat from a local shelter, but wanted to know what questions we should ask before adopting, and what we should prepare for both in house proofing and financially. Here's a link to the cat we're thinking about.

I just got a new kitten and am looking for a bit of advice. First I'm just curious hjow to tell how old he might be. I got him from an animal shelter and they told me they thought he was 10-12 weeks old, but he is not much bigger than the palm of my hand. He has teeth and he ...

I've been living with Isis, my 5 or 6 year old long-haired Tabby, for about 4 years now. I've been reflecting on what goes on around this house. One of the conclusions I've come to is that she, and possibly all cats, seem to love

| Is biting that bad? | 01 Jan 2005 20:53 GMT | 17 |

| What Happened?? | 01 Jan 2005 15:14 GMT | 15 |
Did a 12 Volt Battery kill my cat? Waking out of bed, I saw my cat "leap" backwards and fall about 4 feet to a table top... Grabbing my glasses, I saw and thought that he was having a convulsion...

We are remodeling a room for our foster cats, and we want to put an air purifier in there to keep the stink down a bit (we scoop about 4-5 times a day in the room they are in now). We need to keep them all separate, as our own cats all have FIV. I was just wondering if anyone

I have an 8yr. old over weight cat who for the last 4 days hasn't eaten. She follows me to her room as if to get fed but when I give her food she just looks at it and walks away. She acts as if she wants something else. I have been trying different things, I even tried to give her ...

| Where will it stop????? | 01 Jan 2005 01:02 GMT | 32 |
Sherry and Mary, Here is a link that you might be interested in. When I saw it, it appalled me to no end. If it's not bad enough that we have unwanted animals in our world, now they feel that they have to clone them.
