Cat bubble19 Dec 2004 19:12 GMT1
Hi. I was told about a plexiglas bubble that you insert in your window
like an air conditioner and it locks in. Then your cat can walk from
inside out into this bubble and look around, up/down/all directions;
birds can land on the top. There is also a plexiglas window that slides

Smokey is at peace now19 Dec 2004 14:04 GMT6
You were my best friend for 20 years but now you can hear again, you
can hold your food down again, and you don't have to take the nasty
medicine twice a day for your hyper-thyroid condition anymore.  You
can finally get comfortable when you lie down, and you won't have to

Tapeworm question19 Dec 2004 05:55 GMT4
I just recently noticed what I'm 99.9% sure is tapeworm segments on my
youngest cat. Looks like dried up golden grains of rice, on some of her
bedding, and on the fur around her anus. My question: Is there an OTC
medicine I could buy for her (online or at a brick and mortar ...

I need suggestions to stop a kitten from jumping on and climbing on
shelves, counters and tables - expecially those with fragile items,
cd's, photos, radios & cd-players,etc.

Hairball question19 Dec 2004 01:26 GMT4
My cat is trying to cough up a hairball, but she is unable to.  I don't know if
it's an issue where the hairball has gotten so large in her stomach that she
can't cough it up.  Several times over the past week she'll start gagging like
she's going to cough it up, but it never comes ...

Does anyone know about this Smurggling(SP) My cat loves to 'kneed' certain
fur blankets I have. Then he proceeds to lick 'himself' He is fixed but
seems to love this routine. It looks a little like he is having sex with the
blanket. Then licks 'himself'? Any help?
cat with high fever and pain18 Dec 2004 20:43 GMT1
I posted a while ago about my 41/2 month old ragdoll kitten.  I'd like to
update and then I'd like some feedback because I'm really puzzled.  Two
weeks ago my kitten was showing obvious back pain, he cried when picked up
or when touched, couldn't even jump two feet and had to pull ...

My cat hasn't eaten anything for 2 days and it usually has a very good
appetite
It has cold paws, almost as if it has stepped in water.
The cat is 13 weeks old. What could possible be wrong?
Polysythemia18 Dec 2004 17:19 GMT4
Does anyone have any experience of this disease in cats? Our darling cat
fell terribly ill recently and was narrowly rescued from death by our
wonderful vets, she is now at a specialist hospital undergoing tests but
they think that it is Polysythemia. I can find so little ...
Humour418 Dec 2004 05:32 GMT7
I'm new to this group but years ago I read a funny article on how to
give a cat a pill.  If anybody knows this could they please post it
here?
Thanks,
How do I tell if my cat is too fat?17 Dec 2004 21:53 GMT6
I feed my cat three scoops a day, plus every now and then a scrap from
food preparation.  During the summer she also eats rats and gophers, I
have no idea how many, probably not very many.    Now that it is
winter, and she does not get out much, she complains vehemently that I

Use one of these two links to find a good vet in your area.  The 2nd
link is for holistic folks.

Bad news17 Dec 2004 03:06 GMT13
We just learned that our cat Xena, only 6 years old, has kidney
failure. She has about a week left.
I got her as a kitten, and I consider her like a daughter instead of a
pet.
